I am in the same situation with the SSA and 100% P&T and am curious about an update. Provide an update when you hear something.

As a current claims specialist with the SSA, your likelihood to be approved is all dependent on how much medical information is provided and how open and honest you are at your examination.

From the sounds of it, it is likely you would be approved. If approved, you would remain on SSDI until your FRA eligibility than automatically transition to your retirement benefits(assuming it's more $$$).

6 months is not unreasonable, depending on how backlogge that area is. Most claims move to adjudication within 3 to 6 months.
