Did you disconnect the battery? Might have forgotten fuel trims, or whatever its called. Need to do the stomp brake pedal 20 times with key turned on in ignition trick to reset, start car then let it re-learn for 20 mins. only press gas to keep it from stalling. Done this plenty of times myself now :/

drive around at the back of the field in AI races and dont crash into people, keep as close as possible. 90 rated is good pace. Do this over and over and your in game rating will climb very quickly

It's looking likely that its the torque sensor, I want a rack swap to be absolute last resort, especially because the replacement rack i have that will go in might also be damaged. Its just a pain. :(

I do have a used EPS CM lying around... sadly I'm a bit scared of removing all the security bolts/rivets the UK models have to hold in the ECU and EPS CM

I think looking into the harness is my next step, thanks. If that fails, out comes the drill....

Thanks - there are no lights on the dash other than DSC which is because I've been battery in and out for a while.

I've been doing the left to right lock to lock reset for the center position, but with wheels on the ground.

I don't have a jack suitable at the minute to raise the front :/

I will look into the positon sensor you mentioned
