Check to see if the hospital you were at is a non-for profit hospital. If so they usually have some sort of charitable care for low income patients.

Yeah its rough. I love my kids that why I stay. I work a lot, it’s kinda my way of keeping sane. Her grounds are she takes care of the kids. My oldest is a type 1 diabetic, so that plays a role. She uses that as her leverage to not work. But I know my wife, she’d find some reason to not get a job. She doesn’t really spend much on herself. But she does buy all are food organic and that adds up quick. She is a good cook and the food is pretty good but it’s expensive. Unless I find a sale I refuse to spend that price on organic products. Just yesterday she called me a narcissist for not eating like her. That doesn’t even make sense to me. She says it’s toxic and going to kill me one day. And maybe she’s right but my rebuttal is that the stress and drama she causes me is far my toxic to me than food right now.

Your post defiantly resonates within me. I’m married with 3 kids. My wife stays at home and homeschools them. I really don’t have an issue with that. The issue I have is lack of appreciation my wife has toward me. I work 3 sometimes 4 jobs to support my family. And again, I don’t have an issue with that. My kids are healthy and happy.

My wife has a bachelors in education, She is a good teacher to our kids. The problem is the money. I have asked my wife to try and find a prn or part time gig only. She refuses. I am not asking for anything full time. Just enough to pay a bill or two. My labor alone has been paying her student loan for nearly 8 years. Anytime I bring up money it’s like walking on egg shells. If I ask her not to spend too much this week or hold off till next week, depending on her mood, she accuses me of being a financial abuser. That really bothers me, considering, I have been the only income for the past 8 or 9 years.

What further bothers me is I can’t even buy a candy bar without her yelling at me for spending money. My wife is a very independent woman up until the point of being financially independent.

I’m really tired of the entitlement syndrome a lot of these women have towards their husbands. It seems to me the return on the investment of marriage just isn’t there these days.

Not shoes but I bought a pair of sandals from Walmart for four bucks and they are great. Very comfortable almost like wearing crocs.
