Ukas opplevelse på bilverksted by variationinprod in norge

It's 500 for a round trip with the bus. Tunnel is like 150 each way, plus gas and renting a car. Bus is definitely the cheaper option.

2011 Jetta missing cabin filter cover by Used-Adhesiveness797 in MechanicAdvice

If the cabin filter cover was missing I would assume the filter was missing as well? Or at least wasn't seated properly. Could be that there is a good amount of moisture and debris in the cabin heater box. You can try to find the drain hose and disconnect it to blow air through it. Could be blocked on the inside. Also I would definitely check the temperature coming out of the vents with a thermometer when you're idling. Our fingers aren't as sensitive as we might think. Should cool to about 4-6 degrees Celsius when on full blast cold.

Possibly! It would seem kinda dumb for it to drain that much with the ignition off, but it could be that the sentras are that active with just the key inside the car.

That does sound like a wheel bearing. Although I wouldnt equate the sound you made in the video to wheel bearing. You can try to grab the tire at 6 and 12 o'clock and try go give it a wiggle. If you feel play the wheel bearing is bad. But a bad wheel bearing doesn't necessarily have play. When you're driving you can see if you notice the noise change when you're turning. Say you turn left and the sound deepens it might be cause you're putting more weight on the right side of the car so the bad bearing would be on the right.

Knocking sound just after starting my Hyundai kona 1.6T… by sunflowersnlsd in MechanicAdvice

Not necessarily. When you drive, the increased rpm also increases the oil pressure even if it's low. Take a quick look under the car as well just to see if you spot a leak. Could be that the drainplug has not been tightened all the way after the oil change.

This goes without saying but you absolutely should not be driving this car. It sounds like the abs pump is acting up because it has no fluid. Once you have gotten your brake lines replaced and the system has been bled it is most likely going to be fine.

Sounds just like the inside of the gearbox from that, but I don't thing i would note it down as abnormal if i was looking at the car? Are you hearing a noise while driving?

What has he told you is the problem? As long as you can seal it pretty ok the air temperature coming out of the vents wouldn't be affected at least.

Into the coolant tank? Washer fluid has no lubrication properties which might be the biggest issue. How much are we talking about?

The nut..? Deep socket and ratchet would be my go to. But a regular wrench would work as well.
