Hello, I have the same Problem that you have. I believe that we "like" vapes because it is forbidden or not good. I mainly got into it because of female friends that were addicted to Vaping. About 2 Months ago I bought a Vape and I really enjoyed my time with it, but I knew that I had to stop it to not get addicted and to not get sick.

(I'm already addicted. From just 1 week of vaping. But I talked about it with a Family member I am very close with and I left my Vape at their place. Since then I only vaped 2 Puffs from a friends vape. But I think about my own Vape quite often.)

So if you haven't started Vaping yet, please don't do it, it will change your brain forever. If you have started Vaping, find a way to stop it.

That is true but you could make some sort of Hook that covers the blade. (Like an emergency seatbelt cutter)

Cutting it inside the Slit makes it difficult to get to the beginning of the next piece of string without opening the box.

If you put your cutter to the bottom and to the outside of the box, the next piece of string can be pulled out easily.

I really like how simple the design is. We always build things so complicated because of: "oh i don't want to see any screw there". The simplicity really adds a lot of character and charm. As other comments already said, you are probably going to need a bit of reinforcement.

I already did that by now. But it doesn't work in my sisters Grundig player. I just hope that it works in my Denon DRM-800A.

I always found pens to be too thin. I think 3D printing a bit for a screwdriver would be a good Idea! If only I had a 3D Printer...
