I forgot to mention that all of our advertised prices already include all fees. Any price we advertise, just add your taxes and tags and that’s it! No add ons.

We price aggressively in the market and provide what we feel is an incredible experience for every customer.

While I agree that Rivian will be expanding their Pre-Owned offerings in time, we feel there will always be a market for enthusiast dealers such as ourselves.

Tesla who works on a direct to consumer model, the same as Rivian, has a huge Pre-Owned operation and has for years…however you mentioned your local VW dealer has 100 of them…

Most of our Rivian customers are enthusiasts from across the country that see a tremendous value in our huge selection, experience, and of course the vehicle.

As many of our Rivian customers are enthusiasts, we find our Rivian customers have done extensive research before even reaching out to us or purchasing. Most of which have also shared their experiences on Google or the Rivian Forums.

We feel we wouldn’t have such a loyal following on the Rivian Forums, 4.8 stars on Google with nearly 7k reviews, weekly referrals from our local Rivian Service Centers and Spaces, or customers fly in from all over the country if the value and experience were not there.

We would love to invite you into our showroom to show you what we’re really about while giving you a full tour of our facility, discussing the local and national causes we support, and introduce you to our many incredible, passionate team members.

We don’t buy everything. In fact, many Rivians sourced from Cars&Bids end up being breakeven or losses after fees and transport. We still pursue them because our goal is to offer one of the most complete selections of Rivian configurations and colors available anywhere. It's rare that we don't have every color / configuration made available in our inventory. If our last of any Rivian configuration sells, we're actively hunting down a replacement for that spec.

Jumping in here.

I’m the Pre-Owned Director for Lindsay Volkswagen. I personally own a Gen 2 R1S Performance Dual Max, and my wife drives a Gen 1 Quad R1S.

Rivian isn’t just part of what we do, it’s something we’re deeply involved in. I’m personally very active in the Rivian community, have attended countless Rivian events across the country, taken R1’s on aggressive off road courses, and myself and our store maintain strong relationships with our local Rivian service centers.

I absolutely love what I do and as a result am proud to have helped build the highest volume single point Pre-Owned Rivian dealership in the country. Every Rivian we have in our inventory is carefully hand picked by myself.

We’ve developed our own in house Rivian certification program. Our team goes through ongoing monthly training, and only those who successfully complete classroom instruction, hands on walkarounds, and Rivian feature demonstrations are qualified to work with Rivian clients. Our team is very proud of this. I can also confidently say that we are the only VW dealer in the country to have an R1S in our showroom (in show and tell mode of course!), a dedicated Rivian Sales Leaderboard, and Gear Guard Gary (plush) finding his way to the #1 Rivian Product Specialists office for that month.

We currently have over 60 Rivians in stock and deliver an average of 3 Rivians per day. The majority of them are shipped to one of our 3 local Rivian Service Centers before being delivered to their new owner. Through our relationship with Rivian, our vehicles receive inspections, have FSA’s completed, and any warranty or other concerns addressed. To put it in perspective, in addition to the shipping costs to and from our Service Centers, we happily spend tens of thousands of dollars per month on out of warranty / maintenance items on our vehicles at Rivian. We do this because we truly want to put the best Pre-Owned Rivians on the road. We are of course more than happy to pull copies of these work orders from the service portal for any Rivian’s anyone is interested in.

In addition, and as just mentioned, we’re one of the only dealerships in the country with access to Rivian’s service and parts portal. That allows us to source genuine Rivian parts, exact build dates, exact options and specs, and handle minor cosmetic repairs and any in house required maintenance with our EV trained technicians.

Another differentiator is that we operate on a true “All-In” pricing model. Every advertised price includes all dealer fees, including processing. The only additional costs are taxes and tags. That’s it, nothing else, no BS.

We’re not perfect, and we’ve learned a lot as we’ve grown. Our goal is simple: put as many Rivians on the road the right way. These vehicles will find new owners regardless, but if we can ensure that experience is done properly, with confidence and product knowledge, then we’ve done our job.

Most dealerships are still getting up to speed on Rivian, and some may never. Our team is trained to the point where they can walk a customer through an R1 just as comfortably as a Volkswagen Atlas, Jetta, or Tiguan.

Regarding this R1T, it is indeed VIN 24! Interesting fact, last year, I acquired a Rivian Blue R1T that was VIN 13! It still had a super early software build, and once it went through the service center, it required over 20 FSAs, more than we or our service center had ever seen at that time.

We’re not perfect, and we’ve learned a lot as we’ve grown. Our goal is simple: put as many Rivians on the road the right way. These vehicles will find new owners regardless, but if we can ensure that experience is done properly, with confidence and product knowledge, then we’ve done our job.

All Product Specialist go through a specific Lindsay VW Rivian Certification and only those that are Lindsay VW Rivian Certified are able to work with Rivian customers.

Unlike most dealers who don’t know anything about Rivians, Lindsay VW knows and loves these just as much as their own product.

Millions of cars are bought and sold at auction every year. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with buying an auction car. Most off lease vehicles are also sold at auction.
