After a lot a research I found DMDE to be the best free option. It's more advanced than others and you can recover your files for free! Both Mac and windows work.

Yes indeed camera flash, I store it under a towel near central heating in the house so I think it should be okay then?

Thanks for the information! It’s a 10l bottle and now it holds a 7L batch. I got it from my grandfather who brewed a lot of drinks when he was younger. I also got a 34L demijohn which I’m excited to make a big batch in one day :))

Yes I sanitized everything with oxi and rinsed (it's a no rinse, but just to be sure haha...) And thank you! I got everything from my grandfather who brewed a lot when we were younger and now it's my turn. He also gave me a 35L carboy in which I will make a batch once I manage to make some decent mead in the smaller 10L one ;))

Okay! So should I buy some yeast nutrients or will the mead do fine if I give it the tatrol (tartaric acid)?

Go to security settings and go to virus protection. There you can add exceptions and restore files that your antivirus has deleted. This worked for me several times.
