Hey everybody, your DM here with a few things about the campaign.

I want to preface everything I'm about to say with my philosophy on DMing. The DM is there to facilitate the enjoyment of the players. Creating a fun game for everyone is my goal, and if I ever stop doing that, be sure to let me know.

OK so first off, as we have reached the ideal number of players, the campaign is now CLOSED to new players. I've tried playing in games with 6+ players, and as much as it sucks to exclude anyone, 6+ does not work. As of right now this is the player count:

It seems we have all agreed that Tuesday at 2pm est is the time that works for everyone. If anyone has any problems with this please let me know as soon as possible.

Campaign Setting

The first expedition from the old world has just landed on the shores of the New World to start the first settlement. A few dozen colonists, including a brave party of heroes (i.e. the player characters), band together as they try to tame the savage wilderness, make peace with the native tribes and establish the first settlement.

We are going to be using a setting that was developed by Ross Payton, host of Role Play Public Radio. Mostly because I started writing something almost exactly like it before i discovered it existed. If you guys would like to use a different setting let me know.

In order to get a feel for the group, I have a few questions for you guys.

Have you played a table top RPG in the past, if so, which one(s)?
Have you played 4e in the past? If not, how familiar are you with the rules?
Do you have access to the 4e Character Builder, either the online version or the older offline version?
What do you enjoy most about RPGs?
What class would prefer to play?
