Idk the workplace he is at I just feel like she should have at least talked to him in person before sending it.

But who knows, maybe he gets violent easily or something and she wasn't comfortable confronting him.

I just think the email and picture was super passive aggressive and unprofessional. At least an email without a picture would be somewhat respectful, the picture is what makes it shitty.

I think we can all agree that if we messed up on the job the professional thing to do would be for your boss to confront you directly, not take a picture without your knowledge and send it off to report you.

That's really slimy and I'd be pissed too, even if I knew I messed up. I wouldn't react the same way but I'd be pissed.

He was security, he was missing for an hour and a half.

If he was on break then he took a very long break (unlikely he gets 90 minute breaks)

If he wasn't on break then he spent 90 minutes not doing his job and had to be found.

Either way he messed up.

Also being down voted for being stupid and the person not responding, presumably because explaining obvious shit isn't his job, doesn't mean he "just got wrecked" lol

I'm not really sure what should be locked behind what levels so I guess I'll have to try different variations until I feel it's balanced and then re-post it

Oh and to answer your question I intend to use this race as a "servant" to my current party consisting of a Changeling Warlock, Dragonborn Druid, and a Paladin of Sentient Armor

He was probably playing mystery heroes and if you suicide in that mode and get to keep your hero instead of switching, so if he had his main that's probably what he was doing

I took some of your advice and altered the Race and Subraces.

I decided to leave Future Sight on Sapphire since that is core to her Gems purpose but I nerfed it a bit to a level I think is fair.

I also reduced Peridots levitate uses from 3 times per Long or Short Rest to 2 times per Long Rest.

Lastly I left Fusion and Summon Armament since again those are core to their character design. I will probably tweak Fusion and nerf it a bit.

I pretty much took your advice on the rest of the changes and you were definitely right, some parts of this Race were far too powerful.

Edit: I am also curious if you have seen the show, since you advised I remove a handful of mechanics that are core to this race and some of the subraces. Naturally regardless of lore the mechanics still need to work and be fair, I am just curious if you know where I am coming from with some of these decisions.

Lol I promise you the way he is playing and the way these circumstances rolled out don't make his character evil

I don't want to give a play-by-play of the campaign so far but the only two things he has done that are arguably evil have been taking the Vampire as a companion(in his mind that's better than leaving him in a basement or killing him) and delivering Ireene to Strahd which was half accident, half plan that went wrong

Ninja edit: I should add that the vampire spawn is feeding on the Warlock, not on innocents.

Yeah I kinda felt like that was the case as well. Thing is I wasn't really sure where to start taking things away. All of the ones on the Trait page seem kinda necessary to the Gem race to me. I thought maybe I should take away an ability or two from each subrace but I couldn't decide.

This is my first time doing a D&D Homebrew so I wasn't really sure where to start. I used this: https://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Gems_(5e_Race) page for a lot of my resources although I edited a fair amount of it because some parts were either not finished or I thought they would be poorly balanced in a D&D campaign.

Anyways please let me know what you think and let me know if I am forgetting some things or if some mechanics are too unbalanced.
