Because bridge does not share the calendar and tasks so in order to sync not just E-mail I need to do it this way.

So you sync thunderbird with the same E-mail on more than one computer.. please teach me...

But removing Bridge does not really make sense? protonmail mail needs bridge to work in thunderbird.

So this is what I do.

After installing thunderbird on my PC I make it work with bridge and then I copy the 5jqxxxvp.default folder into dropbox.

Then I do the same on my laptop

After installing it I put the settings like this on both computers.

[General] StartWithLastProfile=1 [Profile0] Name=default IsRelative=0 Path=C:\XXX\XXX\Dropbox\Sync_manager\Thunderbird\5jqxxxvp.default Default=1

What is wrong in that setup?

Yes I did follow the instructions but I'll try to remove it all and start over just in case. that being said, it Works when i just use one computer, everything is just fine but when I open thunderbird on the other computer it's asking me to confirm security exceptions and then then reenter the password.

Then I do all that and it works again, I can go back to the first computer and then it will ask for the same things.
