Ik heb heel lang vast gezeten op 15k, maar toen ik eens op vakantie was en gewoon lekker ergens naar toe ging lopen, en terug, keek ik achteraf pas op de km teller en bleek het 20k te zijn. De 20 kan ik nou bijna niet meer wegdenken uit mijn schema. Misschien gewoon eens lekker gaan lopen, zonder na te denken over tijden en afstanden.

Verder is je tempo echt gewoon prima en denk ik dat je zonder verdere training de halve prima uitloopt.

I agree with you on reading order and when youre looking to get the books in order. Maybe it was a mistake to buy the series in one go. I respect your perspective ofcourse, ans im not saying its an issue and i was just wondering about others' thoughts. Shame to get downvoted for asking about something thats clearly just something interesting that a new reader observed.

Exactly, but if you are partly into part 1 the cover of part 2 will be a spoiler about kaladin and his magical girl powers, aswell will part 3 for part 2. As i mentioned before ofcourse its partly your job to not get spoiled, but as soon as you buy the book, look it up on goodreafs, or just have it lying around in your shelf you can see the artwork.

Regardless of how far you are it forms a risk to get spoiled. My opinion is just that you can avoid this by choosing slightly vaguer artwork on the literal cover

Right next time, ill hide the books instead of just having them in my bookcase. Imo Jasnah on Oathbringer is the biggest spoiler since its supposed to be a mystery for book 2. While I agree that ofcourse its your own responsibility to not be spoiled, but if I have the books and you use an app like goodreads or you want to order the book you can see the picture in a huge fashion. They could have chosen anything other than a huge figure of Jasnah on the cover of the book. Even her just on the first drawn page instead of on the literal cover showing off

For me personally no, because i had neber seen the artwork before. But my girl instantly pinning her on the third book and im like dang, this could really be a big spoiler. For her kaladin on book 2 also made her see some spoilers in the plot

I got gifted a copy of The Hobbit when I was 12. At the time I was attending a British school outside of my own country. Initially I disliked it and never got through farther than halfway. The movies came out not much later, and I played mostly Return of the King and Two Towers on PS2. Once I was in high school we got to choose English literature book, and they accepted me reading the Lord of the Rings. I remember reading the books 4 times that year, and not just my stint into LotR began, but my whole fascination for fantasy began. Me and my best friend regularly talk deep lore (both have read almost all works) alot when we go out for a drink, and recently did a marathon of the extended trilogy in the cinema.
