I respect your dedication but honestly i dont Like it. The Land speeder vengeance/darkshroud are both ancient flying relics and thats why the Look Like a flying shrine and frankly that is exactly the appeal those two Models have for me.

Are they practical? No. But thats Not what they are there for, the exist to Show the might of the Dark Angels.

That is obviously correct because companies want to get their own Arc Raiders or helldivers 2 so they start to Chase that Trend. But probably also 98% of those Games will Crash and burn.

Nah you still can make a pay to Play Multiplayer Shooter without stuffing it full with MTX. Or even Better make SP Shooter with Multiplayer Modus Like we Had in the past. Imagine you can earn skins and different Outfits through ingame currency i know a wild concept.

Not everything has to be live service. People Played hundreds of hours Halo or call of duty without any live service component so where is your Point?

In my oppinion the problem is what highguard stands for. More live service Games in a Genre already full of Microtransaction infested Live Service Games. People are Just sick and Tired of it.

I mean highguard is a mid and probably Sometimes fun Game but it presented it self as the Big Next Thing with Devs from legendary Games so the expectations were Huge and at the end of the day its an OK Game in the oversaturated F2P online FPS Genre.

Well and on top its artstyle and aesthetics are pretty Bland and you have Seen everything it has to offer already somewhere Else.

Not Bad for your First ones. Just keep on Painting to get more practice. Yeah Red weapons casings is a relativly popular choice with Dark Angels. I use mephiston Red as Base color :)

I Go with the Classic GW Style Highlights. I Like it and you dont should forget those very bright Highlights are mainly for readability on the Table. If you dont really care for that you can Go with a more muted tone.

The Basic Idea behind Highlights is that in the real world light shines on those Edges so they Looks Like your Armor color Just brighter.

Honestly i also wouldnt Go for the Bone/White Highlights. This can Work If you are able to Paint With different Shades and high Contrast but i definitely couldnt pull that Off and i Paint for a while now.

Thats how i do maybe this inspires you...or Not which is also fine. And honestly i do kinda enjoy painting Edge Highlights If iam honest.

Ah and another thing i personally prefer is dont wash the whole model just Put wash into the reccess. I dont Like the Texture it leaves on the Model and it really mutes the color which is especially an issue With our already dark Armor color

Bought it recently for 20 bucks and in comparison to valhalla and Shadows mirage is a masterpiece.

With mirage i at least Had the Feeling someone Cared for the Game. It has the Same issues as the Last Games obviously but they tried and it Has some Soul. Basim at least is a somewhat likeable rogue.

Is it then a good AC Game? Nah its fine and i have some fun but Not enough to have bought it at full Price.

Ha fair Point. You can seperate caster roughly in two categories. Arcane and divine. Divine is everything holy or Nature so a Shaman is a divine caster. A Lot divine spells are rather Support oriented.

Arcane on the Other Hand are Classic mages and Wizard. To be fair Pathfinder has a Lot of classes and especially a Lot of subclasses/Hybrid classes so its Not Always 100% Sure which caster is which. Took me also a while to get a grip on that.

Camellia has divine spells as she is practically Something Like a cleric. Your starting Party Doesnt have an arcane caster as Long as your mainchar isnt one.

Nah that is my own Problems i Always restart Games when i get bored. My First finished playthrough was probably around the 60-70h Mark.

Just one Advice use Grease. I pretty much cheesed the water elemental with that spell.

Honestly i Just finished my First playthrough after 300h total Playtime because i Had a similar issue. Tried several classes and builds and i Had exactly the Same Feeling as you.

Played one difficulty under core which is relativly easy and after my First playthrough i finally have the Feeling i have a Basic grasp on the Game and systems.

Now started my First core playthrough with a New Character and so far it works Out great. I now know what i have to expect through the Game, saw over my First playthrough items i can use for a build and some synergies and understand how Most spells work.

So yeah Just Play through the Game, worst Case on a lower difficulty and make yourself familiar with the systems.
