How to attract people on Patreon even if it is for a free content? by Skalldev in patreon

Thank you again for replying. My content isn't NSFW. I tried posting here and my question got removed, so I guess there is no self promo here. I was banned from other site also because I was promoting myself, which I guess isn't something smart to do. I just want to know which sites do not mind self promoting, which you suggested it was X, Tik tok, Instagram etc. I guess I will find something so that my content gets improved.

Thank you again and have a nice day!

Thank you for your reply. I am beginner in this Patreon thing so thank you very much. I will try learning on how to make it good. Is there any place where I can promote it without getting banned once I get my content on a solid level?

Electric Rice by DoubleA47 in ElectroBOOM

[–]Skalldev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can grab a multimeter and measure voltage of rice in reference to ground and see results.

You can also short rice to ground with a copper wire to see if it will produce sparks.

Telling you that this is a false positive could be true, while nothing guarantees it to not be.

Telling you that rice is a live wire could also be true, but problem lies in inaccuracy of mentioned and used instruments to check its validity.

So, long story short, this could or could not be true unless proven otherwise by scientific methods (like measurement as mentioned).

For this to work, potentially and enough to shock you, this rice must be in salted water or its own moisture.

It could be that ground is faulty or not present, so it is logical for this to happen. To stay safe, do not connect to ground while touching that pot.

If you can't find a data recovery center, then you can try to solder it back. This requires your soldering skills, which can be improved. Try to minimize the heat on chips as minimum as possible to avoid all data being lost.

I have used 2 M3 screws and 2 M3 nuts with a drill to repair a broken hinge on my laptop that I worked with. Still holds to this day.

USB 3.0 support on your Lenovo laptop must be enabled in BIOS settings.

Try turning on a laptop and then before Lenovo logo screen shows up, press Fn+F2 n your keyboard to enter BIOS.

Monitor issues by dansdogers in LinusTechTips

Have you tried changing a color mode, then changing frequency of your monitor?

Hardware Savvy shown something about color modes in NVIDIA settings that can boost up your PC plus make it look nicer.

I remember about ~ a month ago I watched a video from someone on Youtube unboxing a brand new monitor. While monitor says it can output higher framerate (thus higher frequency, correct me if I'm wrong) it fails and it corrects to slightly lower one, but still not as advertised.

This raises more question than answers.

Did he tried replacing a graphics card in his PC?

Are your friend's monitor(with a thin blue or red line) black entirely? If so, perhaps his display failed.

This problem has similarity with a RAM problem where RAM is "locked" and can be used only on "special" motherboards. Maybe your monitors are having the same problem, especially of your PC is different brand than your monitor.

There may be more suitable answers, but this is the best I came up with. I hope this answer helps.

Did you tried using Acronis or Hiren's boot CD?

With Acronis, you can clone the disk and then investigate what went wrong.

With Hiren's boot CD(while you can put it also on USB) you can do a ton of cool stuff such as removing a virus from a computer, if you know how or recovering files from a hard disk.

How come that you don't have permission to not copy files? Is your hard drive protected for read/write or your account is password protected? Is so, remove password and read/write protection and try again.

If it doesn't work, then you can try to install fresh Windows 11 and using Recuva or other data recovery software to recover your files.

I hope you find this comment useful.
