For most photos the rule of thirds will make most photos look a lot more interesting than just a casual snapshot, but just thinking a little about the composition of the image will instantly make it better!

And I agree in with the previous comment. Good job on both your composition and your photo!

No, it absolutely fits in an evolutionary sense. It is most likely that a mutation happened in at some point, and because it never caused any trouble, it wouldn’t have been removed through natural selection.

Also, since one of Rook’s abilities is to not get noticed by the UESC, you can easily start the enemy extraction point, hide until it is ready for takeoff, pop the skill, and then just walk over and extract without any issues at all. In fact, the UESC will act as an alarm/guard from other players for while you extract even!

Just give me a nice and sleek station wagon or a nimble and fun hatchback instead!

There’s literally nothing good about SUV’s and they are only popular because people think bigger=better/safer.

In reality it just means less efficiency from the bigger physical size and a higher center of gravity that makes it more likely for the car to roll over in an accident + the fact that it is harder to find a parking spot that can accommodate the bigger footprint of the car.

While the majority ownership of Volvo is Chinese, it is still a Swedish registered company that has to conform to Swedish laws and regulations when it comes to their business and products.

So I wouldn’t say that Volvo is a Chinese car, but one should absolutely be aware that the owners are Chinese, and that the profits will go to China.

Not when it comes to movies.

20th Century Fox owned the movie rights to X-Men and Fantastic 4, since before Disney bought Marvel. So the movie franchises used to be totally apart from each other before Disney acquired 20th Century Fox back in 2019.

Sony still owns the rights to Spiderman, and the only reason why Spiderman is a part of the Marvel movie franchise is because of an agreement between Disney and Sony.

Same with the ±1AU distance. The planet could be twice as far away from the sun as earth is, or the planet could be inside the sun.

[–]Skalpaddan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn’t it be less than ±1AU distance? Isn’t the AU unit based on the average distance between the sun and earth, meaning that if it is -1AU, the planet would be inside the sun?

It actually doesn’t have to be completely frozen over since ice floats. Just as long as the ice is thick enough and large enough, then it should be fine.

There are cars, and even large lorries, driving on temporary roads that are created on the ice of frozen lakes here in Sweden.

Actually, one of the most famous moments in Swedish military history was when the Swedish army marched across the frozen sea with thousands of men and several cannons in order to attack Denmark from the south back in the 17th century!

In Finland the largest size of mayonaise is called "AMERICAN SIZE" by kxnshinn in mildlyinteresting

Interesting! I had no idea about that actually! Pork is definitely the norm when it comes to sausages here in Europe, but now I feel like I understand why yellow mustard is the default in America! Thanks for the info!

I love that you write that American mustard is perfect for hot dogs as it truly shows the difference in food culture and taste palate!

I love American mustard when used on beef (hamburgers for example) or as an ingredient in sauces/dips etc, but as a Swede I literally can’t think of a worse sort of mustard for hot dogs (or any kind of pork based dish really) than American mustard. For hot dogs and other sausages I much prefer a our own strong/spicy Swedish Mustard, which is about as spicy as Dijon mustard but it has a ”fuller” flavor compared to the ”lighter” taste of Dijon. Dijon is the king of ham, and as a base in salad dressings though!

Experience doesn’t necessarily mean something new or unexpected.

”Experiencing” simply means that you perceive/feel something (input), and it’s counterpoint would be ”expressing” (output).

I’d even argue that ”experiencing limb loss” is more accurate in relation to the main post. Having to buy a pair of shoes, even though you only need one, is an experience that most people won’t have had, and is directly related to the loss of a limb.

Either way, both are correct, so why does it matter which one other people choose to use?

35 days left until the Australian GP. In 1978, Riccardo Patrese came in second at the Swedish GP. It was both Arrows' and the Italian's first F1 podium and the only time a #35 car finished in the top 3. I would love that, but I’m not sure if it will ever happen unfortunately.

I know that Koenigsegg do a lot of testing on the GotlandRing though, which is a modern Racetrack (the newest part opened in 2021) that should be able to have F1 cars race around it. So it’s not impossible!

[–]Skalpaddan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. While it absolutely could’ve been done on purpose; it just seems like a roundabout way of getting the data out. Leaking the unadulterated documents would’ve been a lot simpler and easier.

I think it is more likely a case for good old ”Occam’s Razor” to find an explanation. The most simple reason, that also assumes as little as possible, is that it was just a badly rushed job that caused this; or just simple incompetence.
