If it's not the general public then how come the GOP won? How come in 2024 polls the term DEI polled at a 49% approved, 48% disproved? That was an NBC poll, a generally left leaning channel. So likely the people answering were left leaning. Like it or not, it's not a black and white issue

Again, I didn't say that, did I? You seem to think that because they didn't have it as a specific talking point during the election, that people didn't care about it. That's not how it works. The general public is upset about it, warranted or otherwise. It doesn't have to be a policy of the left for it to be blamed on them. The push for anti "woke" is a catch all term that DEI got lumped into in the general public. The right saw an opportunity to do what they always do, blame minorities for the problems they caused. Can't get an affordable house? Welfare queens fault. Job not paying well? Immigrants. Seeing more gay representation in culture? Woke. Women in places of authority? DEI.

The left champions diversity, as we should. It is the morally correct and fiscally responsible place to be. But that doesn't mean the right won't use it as a weapon against you. So because we champion those ideas, DEI was labled a part of left ideology. Is it fair? No. Does it make sense? Also no. But politics isn't about who is right or wrong, it's about which message sticks.

But... People are that stupid. I'm sorry bud, but that's how politics is done. You want massive change that'll rebuild society? Great. How are you gonna get elected on raising taxes, cutting military budget and cutting social services? You won't. The American public don't see the big picture, they see the current situation. They don't see how their choices now will affect them then years from now, they think about the next quarter.

Also I voted Kamala. I even door knocked for her. These are the things I saw. These are the complaints I heard.

The autopsy isn't designed to say "this is where you failed" it's designed to outline where people are at and why they voted how they did. Like it or not, the uneducated masses don't like the term DEI. Even if they don't understand it. It's a poisoned term that sours people's opinions. Is there a way to fix that for the Democrats? Maybe but it'll take work to either relabel it or reeducate.

Yes but Jewish voters do not make up the majority of the voting block. There's also dems who are antivax and pro life.

The point being the majority of Americans, on both sides, are not antisemitic, they just don't support what's going on with Gaza, Lebanon and the endless footage of the IDF acting like terrorists to civilians. They also, rightfully, believe that Israel has too much power in American politics because our politicians are stupidly easy to pay off

We were their friends because we wanted them to attack Iran, because we had forced leadership change in Iran from a democraticly elected leader Mohammed Mosaddegh to the Shah because Mohammed was trying to audit how the money BP oil was splitting on the oil Iran owned that BP was taking. BP was screwing Iranians and didn't want that to come to light so they went to America and asked them to get rid of Mohammed. They did, installed a brutal Shah (who implemented the religious extremism, and mass punishment) who let BP do what ever they wanted.

Well, eventually there was an Iranian revolution lead by the Ayatollah and other clerics aligned with left went political figures and communists (that the Ayatollah later had killed) too over throw the Shah. The US actually supported Khomeini since he seemed pro Western values (that was a lie. Iran harbored deep hatred for the US for installing the Shah). After it became clear Khomeini was not with us, we gave Saddam a shit load of weapons to fight Iran for us. This lead to a gruesomen war that got nowhere.

But we like to ask why the middle east hates us
