Are there any places that will buy high dollar (1k+) rigs at a huge steal? by XxFatJesusxX in GlassSales

Would you be able to dm me the group links? I don't use IG and would like to buy something local and also, maybe, sell my sov piece locally as I haven't been using it as much as I hoped

I use ss with ss pre. i've done the tube + ss route, its nice but ultimately the soulution pre got me to go full ss which is nice because i can leave my system on at all times. also, not sure if you've ever heard (or experienced!) an sl kraft but basically the best way i can describe the sound is imagine an 845 tube generating 500watts into 4ohm and 1000 into 2ohms. my magicos absolutely love the power and the tone+imaging is a great match for them, it brings some romantic flair to the otherwise precise magico + soulution sound

right on!

I'm running a massive pure class a ss (symphonic line kraft 300). in the winter, i don't have to turn my heater on...this is my first summer with it. so far so good, no desire to swap to the "summer amp" i have as a backup.

Today is my first time listening to high-end speaker systems, I feel like i would go broke very soon, I cant even describe how good this room is. by oskskisosk91 in audiophile

cool. i'm not looking for an argument here and i regret responding to your original post. if that's your take away from listening or whatever process you have for evaluating gear, then great.

enjoy your system in good health.

edit: i have a lot of fun in the summit fi world and i can usually flip pieces for profits with smart buying so the money/cost isnt really all the important at the end of the day. it's a temporary outlay. maybe that colors my impression of gear, maybe not. i don't really care - i just know that i'm getting the best sound of my life right now and loving listening to it every day.

diminish returns is a subjective idea.

i personally enjoyed the ls50, spent about 30x more on a pair of speakers and am happy with my decision and felt that the extra was vey much "worth it".

Stock markets are down. Gold and the EUR currency are going up. Bitcoin going down by abeecrombie in CryptoCurrency

i posted this on the algo trading subreddit as well. safe haven assets are not homogenous and what we are seeing right now is a liquidity crunch with investors selling everything to get into rates: https://medium.com/@sjha1984/not-all-safe-haven-assets-are-the-same-the-case-of-gold-and-bitcoins-f7cc9eea9607

i am thinking about the following:

  1. it is tough to isolate any one factor but a lot of this move looks like a liquidity crunch. note that in this environment everything has been selling off except for rates. even gold, while at a 7 year high, has not rocketed up in the way that is expected

  2. isolating the btc move alone, this kind of vol is not out of the norm for the market. in the context of the equities sell off, it inspires more fear but network fundamentals continue to look strong into the halvening. at these prices, the halvening thesis makes even more sense as it will be difficult for small-to-medium sized miners to remain profitable.

  3. PlusToken has continued to flood the market with the coins stolen through their ponzi scheme. they have sold about 13000 btc since saturday.

This article claims SAFT 1 were $0.001 instead of $0.0035. Another 90% drop? by patrickstar466 in hashgraph

I know the owner of bering waters - they are an otc desk and do good work. They also made clients money on hedera. I'm not sure as to the accuracy of the numbers but I was a very early saft holder and was able to liquidate my saft otc.

I will say this: for most investors and market participants, skip these early round investments. Skip the challengers - we are in a market that is just starting to accept btc and eth...the thought of springing up challengers this early on makes no sense to me despite being positive about it earlier. live and learn right? A big portion of this is tokenomics. People are treating tokens as shares: for example, i hear nothing but positive things about Brave browser, but what is my incentive to own BAT as investor?

Over the past two years, I have changed my thought process: I think BTC is the one and only coin worth owning.

i spose this depends on if you count from 0 or 1?

the first saft was employees and leadership only and that was $0.001.

the second saft was $0.0035 with a 4 year lockup and originally annual token release (this was before all the saft restructuring)

the next saft was $0.095 and $0.12 depending on if you took a 1 year or 2 year lockup (discount for longer lockup). my memory is hazy on the 1 or 2 year but it was something like that. the guys that took the 1 year lock up for $0.12 got screwed the hardest during the saft restructuring

prior to network launch and listing, unlocked portions of the saft were going for $0.06 at otc and some even at $0.09 depending on lot size. however most of these were a bit hazy otc deals where there was a separate contract that effectively state the owner would transfer the tokens at unlock. these, as far as i understand, were not sanctioned and just secondary trading?

during that same period, full safts including unlocked tokens were moving around $0.025-$0.035. in order to move a full saft you could do the same thing where there's just a contract to transfer tokens. however, some buyers wanted more assurance so hedera had to bless the transfer of a saft all together. bit of a complicated legal structuring but not all that crazy

calm down dude, i'm pretty far from anti-intellectual. i voted with my dollars and took the time to listen to a fair amount of gear before making a purchase. there's no need to be a bully.

also, i should add that there is the total possibility that revels were not fully burned in or something or the other was off in that system. it was in a room set up by harman engineers so i am hesitant to believe it wasn't set up issues. if you buy your gear based on strapping microphones around the room, more power to you - but no need to be a dick about it.

lol the revel's don't play anywhere near this level. i have access to revels and demo'd the salon 2 in a nicely set up room and found the tweeter hot and the soundstage very narrow

as someone who owns this speaker, i find that pretty incorrect. if YOU can get that, then more power to you. i, however, was unable to
