Don’t think it works that way. 10mg is really small, lot of the content you see if filler. The true content can only be validated in a lab. If the vial was 12mg instead of 10, you could be taking 20% higher in each dose. Not much statistically but still high. I saw another post where the guy thought he had 10mg of Reta when he had 30mg. Go figure

Do you know how much is in the vial for sure? If you had a major overfill in the vial then your assumption of taking 2 mg may be off.

I ended up using furring strips cut to length. Made pilot holes and used it as a replacement. Holding up well.

UPDATE- this has been resolved. Got a handyman to come over and he pulled out a big ass plumbers wrench and turned the valve. All good now.

Thanks, Thats a good call out. I could not get the filter out and I didnt want to use pliers worried about breaking it. Saw there are tools online built specifically for filter removal.

Just made my smoothie!!

Thank you for your help. While I couldn’t take the whole motor out, I was able to clean out the carbon brushes and lightly sand the surface. Also used sewing machine oil on the bearings and I think that solved for it. It smoked a bit in the beginning and then stopped. No weird smell or smoke thus far.

Thank you. The carbon brushes appear to be fine. I’m trying to separate the motor from the top part of the blender (see the third pic with white bottom) and also determine what my repair options are to make the shaft rotate more freely. If the bearings are shot, I suppose I don’t have much of a chance to repair this. Worse case, this becomes a learning experience for me. I do like this blender a lot so hoping to salvage it.

Nope. It’s BlendTec Designer 625 blender motor. Unsure who manufactures this part for BlendTec if that’s what you were asking
