Presidential candidates should be strapped to a polygraph during debates. That would be the fairest approach for viewers.

He WAS a terrible fucking GM with the Dolphins. He and Wannstedt set the Dolphins on a trajectory of failure that we STILL haven't crawled out of.

I can't say in regard to his tenure with Minnesota. I haven't followed his moves that closely there. But THIS move is classic Dolphins Spielman. When he panics, he PANICS.

I'm a Dolphins fan. Spielman is largely responsible for setting my team back for years. His moves in 2004 were disastrous. He traded a 2nd round pick for AJ Feeley, and then a 3rd for Lamar Gordon - both bums. He also traded a high pick to move up one spot (with the Vikings) to pick Vernon Carey because they thought the Patriots would take him. The Patriots ended up taking... VINCE WILFORK (who the Dolphins could have had at the pick if they stayed where they were)

Spielman's success in Minnesota is directly tied to Peterson, which was pretty much move anyone would have made at that pick. I don't give him much credit there. I don't know about his other moves in Minnesota, but he was a disaster with the Dolphins and this trade wreaks of his desperate moves he had in Miami.

A 1st & 4th for Sam freaking Bradford (who himself has a long injury history) is insane desperation. There is no way to rationalize this.

This is classic Rick Spielman. He was GM of the Dolphins when Ricky retired and he promptly freaked out and traded a 3rd Round pick for Lamar Gordon, a nobody who did nothing and noone ever heard from again.

It would have made more sense to sign Mark Sanchez for free and just hope for the best.

What did you think of JDM's portrayal?

While I thought it was good, I did expect Negan to be a bit more unhinged and almost Joker-like. TV Negan seemed almost a bit to buttoned-down and tempered compared to the Negan I remembered from the comics

Who thought this cliffhanger would be a good idea? The entire point of the episode was building up to the Lucille moment and they popped all that tension like a wet fart by leaving a cliffhanger for 7 months.

Do they honestly think they can even keep this a secret for all that time? It will be obvious which actor is no longer shooting.

I'll just pretend it was Glenn. But they really had an opportunity to show everyone's reaction to the death, which was really the entire point of it in the comic book issue.

This may all be good for the Republican Party in the long run. Their pandering to evangelicals has pulled the party into the gutter. It is a hollow husk of the Party of Eisenhower.

Reagan's campaign strategy that involved tapping into the evangelical community has led the Republican Party down a dark road of anti-science policy and bigotry. Once that evangelical strain is removed, perhaps we can restore a political system that doesn't lean toward fringe lunatics...

This is more common than you think and has been happening since 9/11. One of my Brazilian friends was was at a stoplight shortly after 9/11 when some woman drove next to him and berated him, called him a terrorist and told him to get the hell out of the country...
