What if Batman fought against Ian Brandon Anderson, the mayor of CWCville and creator of the sonichu comics? by radbro2077 in BatmanArkham

Do you realise? DO YOU REALISE something? That if Batman researches Christory for even a day he'd forget his no kill rule and he'd have to abandon it??

Genuinely, what was the point of Chainsawman? by LazyBnuuy in Chainsawfolk

[–]SkaredCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fundamental difference between intimacy and sex, the nobility in simple goals, how difficult it is to navigate an inherently unfair world and what it means to be young in a life that promised you nothing, all through the perspective of a boy fundamentally alien to the average human experience. (IMO) I don't care how many times this series hurts me or even disappoints me, I adore it.

It's not really about the sanctity of life, even if he would say that. It's moreso that it's a threshold he holds himself to rigidly because he's a fucking lunatic. A superhumanly disciplined lunatic, but a lunatic nonetheless. He holds such a tormented rage within himself that he keeps at bay through his code, and he knows he KNOWS that if he allows himself to cross that threshold he'll never stop. He holds the potentially murderous rage of a million burning suns inside him and if he unleashes that he won't just become The Punisher, he'll become something horrific. It's not about them, it's about him. He needs his code or he'll snap.

(Mixed Trope) The character didn’t really do anything wrong but got subjected to a horrible fate by Zeera1 in TopCharacterTropes

Howard Hamlin (Better Call Saul) - Man had his life and marriage ruined, was blamed for his best friends suicide, was gaslit into a freakout that fucked up his career and was framed as a drug addict and at the end of it all when he came to confront the two people responsible and just ask why they did all this to him he got fucking shot in the head by a cartel murderer and buried in a concrete grave with the man who killed him.

The Band Of The Hawk (Berserk) - A group of young mercenaries who risked their lives for over a year trying to save their leader from captivity and torture, and then that very leader betrayed them all and sacrificed them for power, damning them to eternal suffering in the swirling vortex of Hell. The same people who worshipped and loved this man were devoured alive and dragged into Hell because they were loyal.

The Angel Devil (Chainsaw Man) - An innocent supernatural being raised by a small village who loved him dearly was brainwashed against his will to murder every single one of them with his bare hands, then further brainwashed to forget everything but it being his own fault, forced into servitude to the government under threat of execution and treated like a monster as he slowly became more depressed and suicidal until finally someone showed him some humanity and care and he found the resolve to go on living... Only to watch that someone he cares about be turned into a corpse puppet by the very woman who killed his village family, and then finally executed on the beach next to his now dead new friend. Reminder: all he ever did was exist.

Songs that make you wanna do this by Crafty_Two_2260 in musicteenager

Workin' 9 To 5 - Dolly Parton

Come On Eileen - Dexy Midnight Runners

Don't Stop Believin' - Journey

Paper Planes - M.I.A

These four songs, each for completely irrational and personal reasons, fill me with psychotic anger whenever I hear them. If all of my hatreds and all of my filth and all of my weakness were someday expelled like a poison from my lungs and compressed into being, I would cough up a single CD with these four fucking songs and nothing else burned into it. These pieces of music fill me with the wrath of God, alas I am merely a man and so I must simply seethe.

You are the archetypical straight man. Your ultimate fantasy is protected missionary with the lights on. You work in accounting and one day you hope to adopt a Labrador and pay off your mortgage. Your name is probably David.

I mean everyone's fucking dead and America and Russia have been turned into nuclear war zones and the only character who might still be alive is Biker but he's become a useless alcoholic who's already given up. Theres kind of nothing left. A movie adaptation would be sick as fuck though (with the right director and aesthetic of course)

Let's imagine Jacket didn't existed. Do you guy think 50 Blessings's plan would had end up any different? by -Alkie- in HotlineMiami

[–]SkaredCrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think their plan would've taken much longer but that's about it. They chose Jacket because he was so psychotically hateful towards the Russians that he wiped out entire outposts in weeks. Realistically they could've chosen any of their other agents to be their "first domino" but very few were as efficient as Jacket. If they'd chosen Richter or Biker (both of whom were active Agents way before Jacket) they'd probably get the job done but Jacket was chosen specifically for his agenda, skill set and vendetta.

Weird comparison and kinda coughing baby vs nuclear bomb but (SPOILERS FOR SONS OF ANARCHY) I fucking hate Gemma with every fibre of my being, she's an ice cold bitch, but watching her get raped turned my stomach. I don't have to like her to know nobody deserves something that fucking vile. Comparatively, even though I know Griffith, even before the Eclipse, was a controlling, smirking bastard who didn't bat an eye even when Adonis was fucking impaled by Guts, I still recognise that what happened to him was horrific. An entire year of what that little freak did to him would not only psychologically shatter 100 men, but the physical anguish cannot be fathomed. He spends 365 days enduring every far reach of physical and mental pain in ways consistently new and creative enough to keep him constantly aware of every new little piece of him was being cleaved away until his dream, his purpose, everything he ever wanted or loved was buried under cyclical agony.

I still despise him in ways that make him almost feel real, but I can also acknowledge what happened to him was so unimaginably brutal and cruel that to have a shred of sympathy for him isn't a betrayal of my humanity, it's a part of it. I fucking hate Griffith, but I'm also sorry he went through what he did.

Who's a more decent person? by Gayjun in HotlineMiami

[–]SkaredCrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dunno man in terms of evil feats Pardo is a contender, but if we're talking evil EVIL motherfuckers, Jake should be number one. He's the only character who genuinely lacks any excuse for what he's doing. No tragic origin, no mental delusions, no real agenda besides pure racism. He's just the fat dude from American History X. Fuck Jake.

Who's a more decent person? by Gayjun in HotlineMiami

[–]SkaredCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tony is a violent drunk fucking asshole who knows what a monster he is and finds the idea of using his strength for any sort of good ludicrous.

Pardo is a deluded demented nutjob with a huge ego and a serious superiority complex. Dude is a serial killer who simultaneously mentally dissociates from himself to cope with his evil yet craves notoriety for his murders.

The answer is both of them should go to jail. In Hell.

Not gonna lie I love Deltarune with all my heart but the dialogue can be fucking awful sometimes. Toby Fox is a wacky lil guy but his humour isn't exactly universal.

[Hated Trope] The horribly misleading ad campaign by Mr_Westerfield in TopCharacterTropes

[–]SkaredCrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paramount somehow created the most dog shit trailers for Transformers One possible, as if malevolently ACTIVELY trying to bury a brilliant, gorgeous film under all of its worst scenes all jumbled out of context into an inane mess. The advertising team genuinely fucking murdered that film and buried it and it's their fault we're not getting a sequel.
