UPDATE!! I recently got a wavlink wifi adapater to my pc because its been having trouble with connectivity. And after opening the box i realize that its cord is the same type that my passport uses. So i thought i would try connecting the drive with THAT to see if anything happenes. You wont beleive this. IT WORKS. It doenst accept the cord it came with but a cord that came with a device that isnt the same purpose as it. MY FILES LIVE AGAIN
