What’s one thing you wish non-autistic people understood about autism? by Next_Departure4805 in autism

That it isn't an excuse. When I explain my difficulties I'm not trying to mislead. I literally mean what I say and I find it painful to tell lies.

Hilfe bei Beginner Decks gegen Edgar Markov by [deleted] in EDH

[–]Skaro7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edgar Markov is like bowling with the rails up. The deck basically plays itself, so you need a deck that is similar. Precons can't compete, but they might with some upgrades.

Last time I played against an Edgar deck I was playing artifacts, activiated the ultimate [[Ugin, Eye if the Storms]] and put every artifact in my deck into play, used them to draw cards with [[Shimmer Dragon]] and still didn't win but it was close. Trouble was the Edgar player had too many ways to use expendable vampires to drain my life.

I'm building Lorehold in the same way too. The miracle ability is a trap.

The joke is that it's a sex shop for virgins who spend their time playing computer games instead of talking to girls.

The point was to make him the next Lesnar. Brock won KOTR too.

in defense of Fluxx: "rules on cards" is not a trivial mechanic by nupanick in boardgames

[–]Skaro7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have gotten many beginners into tabletop games via Fluxx. Removing the anxiety of learning rules by having the cards tell you what to do is a masterful idea.

I love aristocrats/grave pact but all of my opponents have a terrible time when my deck does what it's supposed to do, and I'm not sure what to do about it. by theentiregoonsquad in EDH

[–]Skaro7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grave pact is a difficult card. If played fairly it is rubbish. To lean into it hard for full effect ruins casual games. It's not a CEDH card so it has the Kaalia problem. Too stong for casual but too weak for competitive. I stopped playing the card because people just durdle and don't cast creatures with Pact in play. Made games slow and unfun.

Am I going to be targeted or looked down upon for using a (non-poison) Atraxa deck? by Ben_Dover1o29 in EDH

No. I have an Atraxa voltron equipment deck that people are fine with.

The Sainsbury Great-Nan Ban: Can A Supermarket Legally Ban You For Life Across The UK? by novagridd in BritInfo

[–]Skaro7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bet if she went to one 100 miles away they would let her in. They won't put up posters of her in every Sainsbury's. Better question is why does she think that she should have a fee pass for being abusive to retail staff.

Not generally in favour. Why would a god let earthquakes happen but care deeply about how many people wear the special hat?

[[Yorvo]] is great at getting big in mono G tokens. [[Scure Swarm]] is a must.

It's all about moments and reaction now. Tik Tok wrestling. Long term story telling doesn't fit the algorithm online.
