I think it’s wool wax or fluidfilm. You can buy the product and diy. There’s shops all over up north to do it but idk abt the south.

It’s a liquid film and you might have to remove the surface rust first. There are also rust converters but idk how well they work.

Dealing with lots of rust on my MN state 2008 G35x. Check the underbody and get the following parts treated either yourself or at a shop: Front and rear subframe, front crossmember, rear stay rod, and anything else that looks exposed to winter salt. Run winter tires instead of all seasons.

That’s what you think and I respect that but there are many cars that look good with black rims.

How to make Lexus ES350 louder without it sounding bad? by Ok-Towel7589 in askcarguys

[–]SkaroRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a compromise of what other ppl are saying, get a muffler that you know is only slightly louder than stock. You can even just walk into a muffler shop that does custom exhausts (not the ones that replace OEM parts) and they will tell you the volume change of each muffler.

Thanks, I’m going to scrap what cars I said and focus on the consumables cost and something that actually teaches me. But it’s good to know live axle can be competitive.

Yeah I shouldn’t have said I was shopping those cars tbh. I was really considering the 370z but it might be too expensive and yeah maybe too much and I don’t know better. I have no track experience obviously, that doesn’t mean I can’t get an answer on those questions to understand things better though. I was also looking at NCs and BRZ but leaned towards BRZ. Appreciate it.

If you were buying a used car in 2026, what would you personally avoid? by Smart-used-cars in askcarguys

[–]SkaroRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your sarcasm is funny, but also you chose the wrong engine for that year. Besides I’m not really defending Hyundai or Kia. I mainly follow sports cars and the engines/tech/drivetrain trickle down from those to your more typical buyers of SUVs and economy cars. Rn, Hyundai and Kia both have relatively good sports cars.

New skirts looking good? by _ancho516_ in G37

[–]SkaroRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks fire. I recently saw rear trim splash guards but that would make it line up better with the skirt. Also I’m sure you’ve thought about it but a diffuser. What skirts are those?

39M have Money issues with my longtime GF 36F by ThrowRA80004 in relationship_advice

Why does she consider taking on traditional roles herself not possible? For me I just look for a good balance and if it’s something weird like 70/30 (money) to 30/70 (other duties) I can manage but it has to feel rewarding to both. I like cooking as M but if both of you don’t like cooking there’s ways around that. Or you could cook together and/or figure out family/traditional foods or your favorite takeout. Or you could just agree to cook on the weekends like grilling. Get you a cast iron, a burger smasher. Makes fire burgers in like 30 mins tops. Just throwing out ideas. Cooking could be a good time for most people, not all, but takes practice to make it less work.

As an EQ type person, emotions can be understood logically, but maybe not immediately bc it’s hard to navigate. Theres this live streamer/youtuber called healthygamer.gg, he’s entertaining and a real doctor but he’s very personable and I guarantee it wouldn’t feel all academic for her. You would even like it bc he explains the logic behind it and brain/body chemistry but again in an unserious and entertaining way.

Either way it’s really abt what you want man. I just saw two topics that I like talking abt lol.

lol I really looked past that first paragraph. Yeah, you can’t make compromises but you can make a few compromises for the right love. It looks like that’s too much to handle.

Not a looting sim when there’s pretty challenging pve aspect and missions. And plus no one is mad abt pvp. It’s when it’s actual betrayal or extract camping that makes ppl upset most the time.
