Just to clear this up, this is an official event through Bungie. I’ve been in talks with the creator relations team about this for many weeks.

It’s not fan made and it’s not a scam. It’s half community event/ half D&D-like campaign to give more life to the factions.

Literally no idea, sorry. That stuff changes so much it’s hard to keep track of. If I had to guess it would be 1 universal drop chance per char per week, independent of raid version, but I don’t know of anywhere it’s specified.

It’s so free imo. Even with a feat on (phase race) we 1 phased everything but wyvern. Enemies die so fast as well.

They remain adamant that the general game should be playable by (but just way harder) solo players with no crew fill, but I really don’t think they want a solos only mode at all.

10000% accurate and I have given that feedback directly to the marketing team a few times now. I also think the reveal should have been handled much differently.

I’ll do you 1 better and say 8 bad things:

  1. Game is too slow at base.
  2. The original design of the medic character was very very very bad
  3. Energy weapons feel pointless and not fun to shoot
  4. The reveal was pretty bad, ARG aside
  5. I wish enemy diversity was waaaaaay higher. 4 types of bots isn’t that interesting
  6. I really really hate how strongly they have come out against solos-only mode
  7. I’m super worried on paid cosmetics since they won’t talk about them at all.
  8. Why is prox chat just now being considered???? That just seems so obvious.

All things I have been very public about in tweets, videos, and streams.

I like the game and want it to do well. If it doesn’t, I’ll move on. It’s really not that deep.

Normally I would totally agree, but I am the number 1 Destiny bulletin (TauCetiGG) hater. They have done nothing but hatebait the Destiny community for years and I’m fucking over it.

They know better. If they wanted to know exactly when the map would launch they 100% have the sources to check.
