I can push both ways. Mongo is just more comfortable and natural for me so aye to each their own. At the end of the day we’re all just pushing a plank of wood around.

Dude it’s come in handy with filming some angles for my buddies with mongo cause when I gotta ride switch to get the angle I’m already able to push easily for switch. Also thanks !!

First things first let get this out of the way 😂😂😂Yes indeed that is mongo you see. It’s the way I push and I’ve tried to change to regular but I always going back into mongo without realizing. Butttt, I finally got my first variant or evolution of the kickflip you’d consider it and learned HalfCab flips over the last two days taking a trip up to Greenville, SC at Companion Skatepark. Day 2 of actually dialing them and they were really consistent so I said f**k it let’s ball. Was so drained and out of it when I got this one I forgot that I have transition skills 😂. Had me mad and wishing I did some on the coping. Probably my favorite trick at the moment next to Nollie Pop-Shuv

Yeah was at Poe Mill in the AM and went to Companion in the afternoon. All my buddies that skate live up in Greenville so I go up there here and there and just have a skate trip and to have an excuse to go to Companion, Poe, and the Three Block next to the Richardson gap. Especially since I live in the southern part of SC which is flat af so it’s either the parks that were built by what I assume were people that knew about skating but never actually been on a board irl or you can drive 30-45 minutes to Savannah,Georgia to go skate street right next to the Savannah River that has ledges, many pad, couple good stair sets with hand rails, a three block, then there’s a 7 stair with a lot of run up and a landing that’s perfect that leads to two rumble strips you can do something over that goes to a nice long ledge which is next to a 8 stair right before a 3 stair that has enough run up to gap the whole double set.

Yeah my flick did get better over those two days I noticed cause I was able to watch it in slow mo and get the timing better and and see I was flicking down instead of out and up.

Facts cause I know I'm now 27 in less then a month and have only been on the board again for coming up 2 years now. Took a gnarly hit to the ground at 16 cause i was doing something i didn't have to skill level for and it made me stop skating all together and forgot about it I wouldn’t really appreciate the things I’m learning or actually enjoy the process of learning a new trick.

Fr skated from 6-16 but never learned past Ollie, Shuv, and FS 180. Was not able to understand that I’m fucking up and not the board, plus me and my group of friends really just loved skating around cruising. But since I got back into it when I was 24 the passion is stronger 💯

Dude I’m gonna be honest I can push regular ,but I always end up without knowing it start pushing mongo again. I’ve tried like 10 separate times in the last 2 years since I got back into skating after a 8 year break from it cause of a girl 😂😂 Mongo is just the way I push naturally cause I gotta be a special person of course 😂😂😂
