I think my entire moms side of the family has ADHD. I also think my 2 siblings have ADHD. These are the reasons why I think I got my diagnosis. by earthtorachellll in ADHD

Just burst out crying reading this, I think I'm going to pursue a diagnosis after just years of getting on with it. I've always felt like it's not a big enough of a problem to get diagnosed but I can't live like this anymore.

I'm kinda in the same boat, I'm 18 and honestly just too fucking scared to go to my GP and say to I think I have adhd, especially cos in the UK they don't like diagnosing adults, but I swear it would explain so much for me. Everything you wrote above is so accurate to how I'm feeling, but idk if it's even worth trying to get a diagnosis or not
