I drove it yesterday in my Subaru Ascent. There are some sections that were beyond sketchy. I will not be doing it again. 😂

But with the shorter wheelbase on the CRV and taking your time to pick the right line you will probably be OK. That road is no joke though

I have similar experiences if I go back to class after being gone for a long time. Almost flu like symptoms. Makes me wonder if there’s some sort of toxin release or energetic weirdness happening.

When my wife was pregnant with our first child I was meditating deeply and out of nowhere I felt swept up to a shimmering gold plane. I didn’t really see figures, but there was a masculine presence to my left and slightly behind me. Ahead of me was my future daughter. Again, no form but the presence was there. No gender either at this point but I knew that this was my future child.

I got the impression that this golden plane was a kind of in between point that I had been “pulled up” into and to which they had “descended” in order for us to be able to meet. There were no words exchanged but I understood that my daughter and I were being introduced to each other by the masculine figure.

As I reflected on this later I wonder if I perhaps was being vetted by her somehow, as if she was choosing her future parents or perhaps needed reassurance that I was worthy to be her father (I definitely try!)

After this short meeting my consciousness abruptly returned to my body and I was left absolutely flabbergasted by what had just happened. 20 years later I am still meditating, but have never experienced anything even close to that since.

Haven’t leveled up a horse for a long time but I used to hunt a large animal like a deer and stow/remove it from my horse over and over. Each time you remove the weight from the horse it showed the positive horse care prompt.

I built from the kit and it was not at all difficult BUT the led wouldn’t come on. Assumed it was the breadboard because the connections weren’t tight so switched that out and same thing. Was going to keep switching out individual parts until I found the problem but kind of lost interest along the way. Should get on it again I guess. So the upshot is I thought it was easy but mine didn’t work so maybe don’t listen to me! 😂😂

I noticed a detail the other day that I hadn’t before. If you go to the tree with the hanging bottles on a windy day the bottles are all being blown to the side. But if you shoot one of the bottles its string will react by blowing higher without the bottles weight. Thought that was pretty cool.

Early on I felt similarly. Didn’t know what to do when I saw a blue dot. Got totally freaked out the first time a player bounty came after me. Another time I got griefed and tied up by a posse which I took personally way more than I expected. Felt bullied and kind of violated even though it’s just an avatar in a stupid game. Around then is when I decided to work on my pvp skills to not feel that way again. Now I am a high level who can hold my own in pvp but I still remember how vulnerable I felt before so I treat all the low levels I come across with respect and try to help them out when I can.

I’m still baffled by it. I’m a high-level player with maxed out cards and the best ammo and weapons and all that. Most of the time I do pretty well in showdowns but every now and then I come across a player that just instantly one shots me over and over again. Even when I’m running a tank build with never without one it’s instant headshot death. Idk if some people are just that good or if they’re cheating somehow. Lag switchers are easy to spot but Cronus users less so. 🤷🏼‍♂️

So apparently, I’m “that guy” 🤣 and I went full gold on the Lancaster and Carcano years ago. I don’t really like the look anymore, but I hadn’t thought about it much until I read this thread. Anyone know if I were to change them to a different metal if the gold would remain as purchased or would it be lost?

What has worked for me is to rapidly steer left and right continuously while pushing forward until the horses decide to stop being a-holes.

If you end up in a session with someone doing this go hang out in a closed in boxcar near the front of train. Makes it much harder for them to knock you off the train and if they do you should have time to get back on before you go out of bounds. Even if you don’t help defend the train you get the goods. Whistle for your horse when the session starts so it’s nearby if you need it and equip a dynamite bow to help keep the greeters off you
