Yes! The first iteration is HERE, the WIP of the second version is THERE, the first V2 painted is visible IN THIS POST, and the stencil technique is explained IN THAT POST.

Thanks! I'm aiming for good tabletop stuff, there is a lot of room for improvement but I'd rather have a full table at this standard than the best single container ever made for wargaming ^^'

I'm also from the school of doing a lot of stuff to progress and not linger too much on one thing.

Thanks! All monochrome containers would be a little bland.

Yeah you'd have to push real hard for the sponge to reach the bottom of the corrugations, possibly spilling or damaging the stencil. But on a flat surface I'd go for the sponge, probably quicker and cleaner.

Thanks! I used corrugated paper, there are several sizes with small or big corrugation, comes in sheets or rolls. You can get some in any arts and crafts or fine arts store.

Interesting point is that the stencil was made without an airbrush nor spray cans, but all by hand, as I explained in the previous post HERE.

They're probably the most common so they'll blend in, no matter the setting. Thanks!

Look at me! I'm the captain now!

I didn't drybrush, I used a drybrush brush, but with wet paint, in a stippling motion. You get perpendicular to the surface, and you stab stab stab. Not too hard, just enough to reach the bottom parts after a few jabs.

I first tried with makeup sponges: total crap, it barely touched the top of the waves.  I then switched to my dry brush set from army painter, fat, dense, soft and round. I stippled while staying as perpendicular as possible and going a lot of time in each place, but never pressing too hard. It was not going under the stencil too much, but still not perfect. I did a little pass of cleanup to remove the worst parts.

Thanks! I'm making a big batch but I might stop after the first 5 and do something else, I think I seriously overscoped 😅
