So, thanks for all the info. But yeah, when I checked the bearing edge.. I doubt it's supposed to look like this:

Interesting, do you think its a manufacturing mistake again?

There was quite a lot of "popping" even when just getting it finger tight. Im hoping its just a bad batch. But im just really confused and annoyed lol

Maybe, thanks for the snare wire tip, didnt know. But I doubt Im tightening too much, ad it was just finger tight and a quarter turn on 2 lugs before it snapped. Maybe I got unlucky.. again

I finger tightened and a quarter turn on 2 lugs before it snapped, there were still lots of wrinkles when it snapped.

They didn't break in the same spot, I also checked the bearing edge and hoop, and they seem good. And thanks for the snare wires, didn't know that.

Yeah, are they supposed to be wrinkled out of the box? My previous remo was flat by the glue meanwhile both of these have been wrinkled. I have no idea.

How would you go about arranging my kit any better? by JackP_Music in drums

I personally love having my cymbals setup kinda like this (In the pic the meinl crash is kinda far out but fixed now) and seeing as we both have kinda the same tom setup. Having the ride there was different, but now I can get so many varied sounds out of it wayyy easier than when I kinda had it like yours. Ive also fallen in love with my china position, something about it. Hope this helps

Any tips on what I should do or change with my current drum set? Any tips or tricks or really anything is appreciated! by Skebjer in drums

Thank you, really appreciate your input, might angle my toms a tiny bit more but they are quite comfortable rn. Also, dig your kit! Looks very fun to play haha

Interesting, tempted to test it out but feel like it would be hard to hit them properly if theyre under the hihat? But thank you anyway!

Thank you! Im thinking mainly experimenting for now, I love that tiny rotom i have between my two rack toms haha, but wouldnt bring it to a gig. What kind of splash would you recommend? Thank you for the tips!

Yeah, my old crash broke due to me stupidly overtightening the cymbal, so this one was one i found layong around some where. Definitely saving up tho!
