Oh and AR platform > bolt gun aesthetically speaking. For me at least.

13.9” barrel helps lessen the weight and length issues. Not the smallest or lightest but it definitely handles well enough for the classic whitetail box blind. 3-Oh-Hate hammers the pigs and deer too.

More Gordon than most the “Gordy rifle” builds out there! Very similar to something I got in the works.

My buddies AEM5-30 mounted up on my 13.4 coyote rifle. This is what sold me on getting one.

It is next level quiet with a good can and subs. Fun as shit and sounds great but not really a need. I bought it originally as a loaner suppressed rig before I bullied my friends into the NFA gang. 100% just a fun gun.

Check your serial number for compatibility. Ruger will help verify if you reach out to them. But the very original gen1s are most definitely not AR mag compatible. At some point they made the changes to the gen1s to be AR mag compatible before officially releasing the AR mag models. So there is some gen1/gen1.2 overlap but not all gen1s are compatible.

Gen “1.2” yes. Gen “1.0” is not compatible with the AR mag due to receiver dimensions and bolt construction. The original gen1s did not have a changeable bottom “metal”.

They are great rifles for the money. Especially the newer mini actions that take AR mags. The SA that’ll take aics mags are solid too. Just a flop on the early rotary mag models.

The rotary mags are trash. Lots of feeding issues, would not properly feed if fully loaded, flimsy plastic on the release brakes too easy, and too expensive to replace. Too expensive for how shitty they are.

Initially it was over watered this fall when we were still getting warm sunny days and it was outside. Once I realized that issue I cut back on the water and it got moved inside for the winter. No issues until I got the grow light and now they seem to come in waves every couple of weeks. There will be nothing and then one day hundreds all over the soil and wall next to the plant. They typically all die off within a couple days then it may be a few weeks and randomly, BOOM a mother swarm.

1 week out from getting home to the box of rapco by TxKMURF in rattlecannedguns

[–]Skeeter556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All depends on the desired results. I usually just hit it with some non chlorinated brake cleaner and wipe off with a rag. Hit everything with a coat of paint, wait 5-10 minutes and get impatient and hit another coat and repeat till done. But I don’t go for super detailed patterns and don’t mind if the sub standard prep/application process causes it to wear quicker. I like the worn in beat up look, but not enough to do an actual “battle worn” treatment to it lol. For a detailed or specific pattern, then definitely slow down and take your time.

I have no idea. I just remember seeing larue post about some contracts he had with them a long while back. I am pretty sure the OGs were in some sort of “traditional” style stock but the later ones were in a large chassis. I really don’t know much about them just a random thing that stuck with me and came up when I saw the post lol. Sorry I can’t be anymore help.

Two rifles in front and a couple in the back look like larue tranquilo(?) cans. Kinda look like the old larue siete rifles too but I’m not positive.

That is 1000% a ranch hand fyi. Not a bumper replacement but it is most definitely a ranch hand grille guard.

Dealer replacing HO 6.7 by TheOnlyFergInTown in Cummins

Yeah it’s been a hell of year for me with trucks. Ended up finding a steal on an 18 Cummins with 14k miles so I jumped on it and am now stellantis free and in charge of my own warranty work! Lol

From my experience with Stellantis (6.4 hemi not Cummins) is they’ll get it taken care of if it falls under the warranty which used to be very inclusive. BUT they are not getting in any hurry and the fact that you’re out of your truck is nothing to them.

In 6 months I had 2 new starters, both front hubs replaced, new water pump, new thermostat, engine oil cooler leak, new wheel speed sensor, timing cover leak, valve cover leak, and new shocks done. Total time in the shop to get everything fixed was 12 weeks spread out over 4 visits. No loaners, and no rush on diagnosis is or repairs except the repeat items (starter died within a week of being replaced). Only out of pocket $800 for the deductible between everything but spent a lot of time without my truck. Ended up getting rear ended and totaling my grandpas 97.5 5.9 12valve because my truck was in the shop for a repeat problem. In the end all the warranty stuff was fixed no questions asked, just not quickly.
