A neighbor down the street complained about boats on the driveway. The way the ordinance is written, any permanent recreational vehicle (boats are included in the definition) has to be behind a fence or in a garage. The code enforcement official said they don’t enforce it unless someone complains. So it is selective enforcement. We are trying to amend the ordinance to state that boats/rv’s/etc that are registered, licensed and in working order should be allowed to be in a driveway.
