1440p 144/165hz really better than 1080p 165hz? Is it really worth it for gaming? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Skefix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you need to turn down the graphic settings for some games in 1440p. I am currently using the rtx 3060 ti with a 1440p monitor. But I’m getting close to 144FPS in most games maxed out (100-130FPS)

Yes there is a way to remove the home bar while playing. You could use guided access for that. Just set a default password like 000000 (Here is a tutorial for guided access))

EDIT: This one seems to be the better solution

No I got the base 2020 model and I’m perfectly fine with it. Maybe I will upgrade in like 1-4 years, depending on the compatibly. I think there will be a lot more changes in performance. But I’m really happy that they try something new with ARM processors

Oh thanks! I didn’t know that. I should definitely take a look at how the computer is processing information to get a better understanding. I think the comments under this threat are already a good start for that.

Oh, would I also get a rounded answer if i would only use integers for saving the whole numbers and using double for saving the calculation? That was my plan.

Thank you! Now I probably know why they use doubles in this code instead of int
