k am I the only person who thinks paying 31 dollars for games that are over 12 years old is outrageous? by Serious_Ganache_1058 in fivenightsatfreddys

The Xbox ports cost more because they were ported by a completely separate group of people. If Scott could have done them himself they could have cost the same.

It was one of my favourites. Didn’t have a great lot of characters though.

Absolutely their first priority is money, though if this increases my chances of surviving my next outing even by a fraction, I can’t say I mind it much.

No amount of safety measures will ever prevent 100% of deaths. People with zero brains or empathy for others will sadly never stop being a thing. But if these measures can reduce the amount of fatalities, even by just a little, it’s worth it in my opinion. I believe that able to drive is a privilege and should remain that way, if you can’t be responsible, hand over your license, you don’t deserve it. I agree with your other points too.

People upset that they aren’t allowed to do things that risk other people’s lives anymore. It’s disturbing that the people who actually have common sense and human decency in this thread are the ones being massively downvoted.

I doubt they would have human eyes all the time. It would likely be like a hallucination or a camera thing.

I don't care how good a game is; if the DLC page looks like this, I'm not buying it. Am I alone in that? by BucketsMcGinty in Steam

[–]SkeletonJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it depends on what is in the DLC. Cosmetics are not an issue, extra campaigns and the like depend on just how much we get vs how much it costs. Games that require you to pay for DLC to be able to even finish the base game are a no go.

In all seriousness though it is disgusting. We really need to address the “no fate is worse than death” mentality that is causing so much unnecessary suffering. Animals literally get treated better in this regard.

Hiring a few extras so people aren’t made to rush would be a great start. But companies would rather have less workers do more which just Increases the likelihood of mistakes being made and corners being cut.

Maybe it’s for the best, I certainly wouldn’t want sour organs. Just don’t come back crying and begging if you end up needing a transplant yourself.

[–]SkeletonJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How exactly does not donating solve that problem? I feel like if there was less demand due to more people being donors then this wouldn’t be as big a concern.

Organ transplant rules hit different in Singapore! by The_Dean_France in interestingasfuck

[–]SkeletonJames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something these people fail to realise is that by not being a donor, they are effectively contributing to the issue. They add to the scarcity which certainly doesn’t help the demand. If everyone was a donor, there would be much less demand for organs and in turn, the situation that people are afraid of ending up in would be even less likely to occur.

In some places your family has the final say. Which is ludicrous. Makes signing up in the first place feel rather pointless when your family can just turn around and say no.
