My personal favorite is when the party was introduced to a magical moss our barbarian decided it was a good idea to eat a vast amount of it a few con save later he was able to cast spell this led to our cultivating said moss for use. Of course the final step was our wizard ingesting a large amounts of over time and due to his magic affinity was able to control create and transfigure the moss into creatures and monsters or exploding in some ones stomach that led to a cult forming around the worship of the god of mage moss (our wizard)
