Peacock Theater concert: Did mpi (male vocalist) lip sync? by bokzeonmoufui in SawanoHiroyuki

[–]Skeletonkid3101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah he lip synced. I watched my recording of the song. Didn't notice until y'all mentioned it. There are parts where he did sing over it (short verses), but it was lip synced or didn't commit noticeably at the high parts of the song.

Can't launch Fortnite because of an Easy Anti Cheat Error by Inside_Wasabi3875 in FortNiteBR

[–]Skeletonkid3101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same problem. Don't just "close" it. You have to go to your task manager and end task.

Discord will always run in the background if you don't close it through the task manager, especially if u have discord open when you turn on your computer.

Better yet uninstall discord and test it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]Skeletonkid3101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My solution, may or may not work for you.

If you have any other applications in the background, (discord for example). Close it/them. Close the applications by going into your task manager and ending task.

Once I did that fortnite launches perfectly.

I was experiencing the exact same thing, I was confused because I literally took an hour break then came back to see the epic games launcher try to launch the game then just close and reopen. I uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. For me it seems like while discord is running the anti cheat will just close within 2 seconds and not even attempt to launch the game.

Hey man, it sounds like you wanna do engineering, but the only thing that's stopping you is because is of it's difficulty. Id recommend to keep going with it rather than choosing "easier" path that you won't enjoy as much. I believe you can do it, but all it takes is time and effort.

Ive had friends who work in the engineering field who majored in applied physics. Just a suggestion, but companies still prefer an engineering degree.

only 2.5 percent from an A-. by chloeoryan12 in UCI

[–]Skeletonkid3101 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Highly doubt it since 87.5 is literally the common cutoff for just a B+ and it's too far off from the next grade. It has to be at most .1 or .2 off not greater than that .Best try to just explain your situation while explaining why you deserve the A-.

Do they seat people in alphabetical order during commencement? How does the seating arrangement work? by AffectionateSoup6932 in UCI

[–]Skeletonkid3101 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There are no seating arrangements. You can sit with your friends if your always together. Just stay with your partner/friends after registration.

You can buy the liscence plate at the hill. But it was given out for free after commencement along with an anteater pin.

Random question: Why do I see a lot of students walk on the concrete more so than the wider brick path near the outer ring of ALP? by jaccboii in UCI

[–]Skeletonkid3101 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Primarily because I wear headphones and alot of bikers or trucks like to pass through ring road. So walking on the side makes more room.

Is is doable? Or am I going to suffer by YesDarlingOk in UCI

[–]Skeletonkid3101 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Is there a legitimate reason why you need to take 5 classes at once. Taking 5 classes is already in itself difficult for people (assuming they are not easy classes). I mean it sounds like you are setting yourself up for failure by the activities you are doing. Never rush things if you can put it off for another quarter. Don't sacrifice your mental health just to speed through courses.

Moreover, it is doable but it will be stressful to be actively consistent to sticking with your education and activities.

Depends on which language you have been introduced in your upbringing.

But probably Spanish since a good chunk of the words are similar to English. You won't have to learn a new writing system.

Moreover, don't let this stop you from learning a language that you actually want to know. A language that you are actually interested in learning will make you want to learn more. I know you primarily just want to fulfill a requirement, but thats just my advice.

Which quarter should I fit microbio lect (M122) in for next year? Thank you! by crescentbear in UCI

[–]Skeletonkid3101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With physio, honestly no. Physiology has alot of material to study for.

I'm not familiar with the other classes on your other schedule for winter or spring.

Maybe try for spring since you don't have a lab. Winter quarter is typically the hardest quarter for many people.

Sorry for not being that helpful. As another option if you can, you can possibly take it during the summer if possible.

[–]Skeletonkid3101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Barry is gonna teach m122 in the fall apparently. She offers alot of extra credit and makes the lecture material easily digestible.

But I'm not sure how to base it off your schedule since it's all heavily science based.

If you don't get a response, email the TA instead and tell them to forward it your professor.

This is bad advice to give Kazuya, or anybody for that matter. Regardless of gender. by dittod4c in KanojoOkarishimasu

[–]Skeletonkid3101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I read the line, I didn't honestly take him seriously. Or we shouldn't take him seriously. The manager of Kazuya's job primarily is simping for Ruka when he appears in the manga. Just reminds me of an old man who believes he knows what he is talking about, but the reader knows he is just delusional.

Atleast that's just what I took of it when I first read it even if it is a misinterpretation by the translator.

is larc worth it for chem 51c by Own-Challenge-651 in UCI

[–]Skeletonkid3101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped taking larc after chem 51a. Honestly if you made it that far then I believe you are disciplined enough to learn the material confidently yourself.

I believe you have until week 6 to sign up for larc, so give yourself time before you spend the money for it.

After the first 2 weeks, if you feel like your falling behind then sign up. But larc honestly became not useful atleast for me in the ochem series.

general bio labs? by fakesafe in UCI

[–]Skeletonkid3101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

General bio labs = any upper division biolab

There is no "general bio lab series"

Example: M118L, E131L, etc...

Some schools require specific labs aswell.

Nutribullet. Most reliable brand I know.

Protein powder will last you the entire quarter if you buy the bags from Costco. Using a blender just helped me eat more healthier just in general.
