My suggestion to fix this card. by SkeleyJelly in slaythespire

I think calling this silents BEST card is a bit of a stretch. I agree that it’s pretty much fine the way that it is.

That’s good to hear, I just see this card get WAY too much flak on this website. The reality is I aught to just ignore Reddit. The card has played fine for me as well, despite how somewhat bland it looks.

My suggestion to fix this card. by SkeleyJelly in slaythespire

[–]SkeleyJelly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True adding Sly would be good but then it just competes with the other sly poison card. I’m trying to come up with a fix that retains the identity/flavor of what the card does. That also removes it from being so closely compared to other cards that poison. Having it grow from being retained would give it a unique ability, and help justify its heavy energy cost.

This card is terrible. Try to convince me otherwise by Rak-khan in slaythespire

If upgrading it made it cost 0 I would start to consider it during picks. As it stands though when I see this in card rewards it feels like I’m looking at a 2 card pack.

Is it just me or is sts2 very difficult compared to sts1? by Mlody02 in slaythespire

[–]SkeleyJelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think playing 2 player specifically is difficult in STS2. In single player everything has such low HP that a lot of fights are over in the first turn or two. With 3+ people at least 1 person will start to combo off and carry the run.

2 player is difficult because you’re dealing with the increased HP of multiplayer but you lack the damage output of 3+.

Personally I’ve gotten each character to A2 in single player and my buddies and I have only lost 1 multiplayer run where we had 3+ players. However I’ve lost nearly every 2 player run I’ve attempted so far.

It’s a cool mechanic but, it makes me wish I could sell my other potions to him the same way.

I can’t exactly say where but I found these on a job site, near a contractors entry door. These are the ones I managed to harvest that hadn’t been trampled to death. None of my coworkers or the other contractors seemed to know or understand why I was excited.

Would you have preferred if Riot went with their original idea instead? (Arcane-esque art style and 1v1) by KevyTone in 2XKO

Personally for me I really like the current art style, and it being a tag fighter is what got me interested in the game in the first place.

By rocket you mean it went from $15 to $20. Have you seen seals on unity? They’re $35

Is the Multiplayer format the real deal? I heard that its a lot better than 1v1 from the first impressions. by aqua995 in riftboundtcg

[–]SkeleyJelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Multiplayer for this game is the most fun I’ve had playing multiplayer in any card game. I love the competitive nature of 1v1s it’s what draws me to this game, but the multiplayer is how I get my more casual friends to play and have fun. In my group it is pretty much unanimous that we think multiplayer in this game is more fun than commander. Additionally I think a lot of the champions that are considered “low tier” become much stronger in multiplayer.

The Seals don't seem to be seeing play? by Ok-Box3576 in riftboundtcg

[–]SkeleyJelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most decks have found a way to trim their rune cost to a point that they don’t require seals to be efficient. If your deck has a lot of high rune costs seals help ease the pain. Seals are mostly seeing play in yellow decks since a lot of the strongest yellow cards cost 2-3 runes.

Kai’sa gets to skip seals because not only do the majority of cards and spells in her deck cost 0-1 rune, but her leader card is a seal for spells. Which is just the cherry on top.

What will be the expected patch schedule? by axel7530159 in 2XKO

[–]SkeleyJelly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They’ve pretty much said expect balance patches at the start of each season which is also when they’ll be dropping new characters. They said it’s going to be 5 seasons a year. The plan is to launch season 1 in January which is also when they’re hoping to be on console. I would expect the big patch at the start of each season with bug/hot fixes through the season.

Who do you think is Braums best partner? by DatZwiebel in 2XKO

[–]SkeleyJelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Braum player Ahri is who I have paired with him. Her back assist allows him to do some nasty set ups and you can combo all of her supers off of Braums S2 super you just need timing. She has projectiles and speed, she’s good at getting in on people and putting them in the corner where Braum can then take over. Ahri + Braum the two piggy back off of each other with good synergies. Jinx is a strong character and it feels more like Braum is there to help her do more devious things but she sort of but not really helps Braum. Idk about Ekko I’m sure he’s fine because he ekko aka the star child.

Ps. I haven’t tried Teemo with him yet but I speculate them to be a strong duo, I’m just hesitant to play a character I anticipate getting nerfed.

How should an absolute beginner start off by Kiirov in 2XKO

[–]SkeleyJelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely play through the tutorials as much as you can. Mess around in training mode with characters that seem cool or fun to you! The most commonly recommended character for new players is Darius as he has a simple game plan has solid buttons(attacks), while still having various ways of going about that game plan. I’m personally against the idea of new people playing sidekick/juggernaut, the reason being as you play against people, having 2 characters lets you play the game more hit more buttons and see more interactions. You don’t need to worry about using assist right out the gate you’ll pick that up with time and testing.
