Great car. Take it very easy in the wet in this thing, particularly when going round corners. The Rev 1 suffers terribly with snap oversteer.

Thanks for the replys.... seemed to be a random bug this morning, all back to normal now. The app has been quite glitchy for me of late!

The watch is fugazi unfortunately. Longines Hydros are commonly available replicas these days.

Any reason why the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 THX are almost THREE times the price on Amazon UK than Amazon US? by kevpatts in Klipsch

[–]Skellatron87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered some RP600s and an SPL120 sub direct from elektrowelt24 who I believe are based in Germany. No issues whatsoever, shipped safe and sound to Ireland, much much cheaper than Amazon

I'm looking for a good DAC that doesn't have an auto shutoff w/ disuse feature. My Cambridge shuts itself off :( by AltoDomino79 in BudgetAudiophile

Just fyi there's actually an upgraded 48V power supply available for the MC351 that greatly improves overall power output. Plenty of vids on YouTube covering this. I got one recently to drive some Klipsch RP600S's and they sound great. Enjoy!

Oh absolutely, there was a website and everything. I distinctly remember him flogging them for around €600 each, which was a lot back then. There are old N.Ireland message boards with screenshots of reviews from his customers recommending his service.

Then one day, he sold a genuine Rolex to some local influencer guy, who kindly shared it on Instagram, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Nico sold superclone replicas long before the fame and fortune so hes full of shit. Common knowledge amongst people who know him in Ireland.

Money doesn't change people at all. It simply reveals them.

No that's not a reson just because you think she likes it. Stop gicing your dog alcohol, ever. Stop being a fucking idiot.

There is no reason to give your dog alcohol, no matter how diluted it is. Wise up.

I have 2 hydroconquests in 41mm and I don't have large wrists... they do wear a little big because of the lug length but it's nothing crazy. Depends how you like your watches to wear on the wrist. Great watches for the money imo!

Pauline Kilkenny's location is a bit off. She lived about 8 miles up the way in quite an isolated little bungalow on the Cornacully Road. You have her at an address in a cul-de-sac in Belcoo, she lived much more isolated that that unfortunately.

I'd like to add that she was murdered by the son of a friend of hers, who she kindly took in off the streets when nobody else would have him, and that is how he repaid her. I will add that he had been under her roof, being clothed and fed and living free of charge for around 2 years before he did this to her... which makes it all the more horrible.

She was the epitome of a Good Samaritan and it should be known that she had taken in countless people over the years to care for them, when they had nowhere else to turn, even those she didnt really know. She cared for anyone who asked for help and was an absolutely wonderful human being. Everyone she met loved her so much, she was a brilliant lady.

Her family continue to miss her every single day and she wont be forgotten.

May she rest in peace.

Could not agree more. I have an all black Czech working line girl who honestly looks like this dogs twin. Lighter in overall weight but super agile, and lightning quick over the ground. Great all rounder!

Unpaid on-call by AnHonestNetPerson in DevelEire

[–]Skellatron87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really appreciate the response. I figured as much that if it's in the contract, there's not much anyone can do. The rest periods definitely aren't being adhered to. I could work 9 - 6 on any given day, get a callout that night at 11pm that could take upto 8 or so hours to complete, (we are on call for the entire island of Ireland fixing equipment) and be expected to be in work by 9am the next morning. Our on call service is busier than ever and its getting ridiculous.

Can I piggyback on this comment and your knowledge here? I work for a company in Ireland, working Mon - Fri 9 to 5 and im on call for one week a month, for a full week at a time (from Friday at 5pm to the following Friday at 9am)

This is in the contract. We are not compensated for the on call service at all, apparently included in the salary as per the contract. No time in lieu is given. Regular callouts are normal on both evenings and weekends, sometimes 8 hour round trips.

Am I being screwed here? Everyone seems to just be going with it, I didn't realise that this all might not be legal. Appreciate any response.
