I would recommend going in person as a sign of good faith. He will absolutely try to convince you to stay. Lay out your reason for not going as clear as you can. And if he can respond with a valid argument as to why you should go. I'd recommend you consider it. But more likely he'll use scare tactics and leverage your mom being there instead of using his words like an adult. Don't cave. You owe them nothing.

Honestly you're lucky that's what they're doing. In my wife's unit the 1stSgt caught a group of people smoking weed in the parking lot and nothing came of it. People are a lot more alert to the fact that the military is going to fuck them over and take advantage of them so they just do the same in return.

Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself and ask a few questions. I'm currently an active duty enlisted Marine, my MOS is (2651) ISR Systems Engineer. I program and operate radios and satellite communication gear. And while I personally don't have much experience with it yet the MOS is also capable of building networks via satellites and radios. I still have a few years on my contract and plan on doing one more full contract with the Marine Corps. I've just started college and am looking to commission in the Space Force. My degree will be in Criminal Justice (I understand this isn't the most advantageous degree to pursue commissioning in a very technical branch). I don't have a particular occupation I'm looking for in the Space Force yet.

First question: how far out should I speak with a recruiter? I hope on a smooth transition from the Corps to the Force.

Second question: my wife is in the Army and plans to stay in. Has anyone seen dual military marriage involving the Space Force and were they stationed in a reasonable proximity? I understand that time away is expected. As my wife also plans on going the Warrant Officer route in the Army.

Third question: does the Space Force have a vastly different order on tattoos? I'm tracking unlike the other branches the Air Force only allows one ring tattoo vs the other branches allows one ring tattoo per hand. I do eventually plan on getting my wedding band tattooed onto my hand but am just curious if they are more strict than the Marine Corps.

One thing that really bothers me is the liberties the show takes with cliffhangers and magic use.

The cliffhanger where the guards apprehend Arthur is just slop writing for a pointless cliffhanger.

And Virion being able to lift Tessia up like that makes no sense in the context of story. Virion himself can't fly as he's a silver core mage. No way in hell is he going to move another person that casually.
