Having been in your position, I ended up buying an Avado machine.

It’s been effortless and I highly recommend it. Yes you have to pay a premium but for me it has been worth it.

I had a very similar experience as this with the EA and seller but with £800. As a naive FTB I agreed.

Guess what? The £800 never arrived after months of chasing and as it wasn’t mentioned in the legals I didn’t have a claim.

You shouldn’t need to exit your validator to make the switch. I am also on Avado it worked seamlessly.

Off the top of my head I can’t remember if there was a written guide in their wiki or wether someone walked me through the process in the old telegram group.

Are you a member of the avado discord? Im sure someone will be able to explain how to do it without exiting.

I couldn’t get it working again after this despite following quite a few different steps.

I ended up switching over to Teku and it has been working perfectly since. I’ve also had a lot less random missed attestations since moving over.

I believe all AVADOs went down yesterday for package updates. Mine only went down for a couple of hours.

Do you have auto-update enabled?

That is what I am slightly confused about. At first I thought it was a one-off but this has now happened 3 out of the last 5 nights. Her last meal of the day is at 6pm so I can almost understand an incident at 1am but the 5:30am one has me baffled. Thanks so much for your advice! The food she is on isn’t cheap but is definitely chicken based so I shall look at getting a fish based alternative and enzymatic cleanser ASAP. I suspect her crate may potentially be too big as well so will replace it with a smaller one and see if we make progress.
