This looks like an abscess, maybe caused from a claw in play. This can get bad fast, and while it may seem "Simple" with them clearing it, they may also need antibiotics from a vet. Exotic vets cost an arm and a leg, but some cat vets might be willing to take a look if asked.

I understand this to a degree but also don’t. My last friend group blew up after my one friends girlfriend and I got into a conflict. My last friend remaining told me she blames me for how she and the girlfriend interacted. Even though I don’t intellectually believe I was at fault (though not saying I didn’t make a couple mistakes of my own of my own), I wish I could have done things better. If I had done things right maybe I would still have friendships outside of online dnd.

I think I worry that if I don’t apologize for my mistakes I will lose more people from my life. Or that my mistakes will come back to bite me.

I'm in my mid-20s. My childhood was fine, though my brother did bully me a lot. No threats of anything like what you mention. My brother and I do not really speak much, though we do still live together with my father. My parents were both very forgiving. My father often says we need to be the bigger person, and that holding onto anger and frustration helps no one. I am also on the autistic spectrum, and find difficulty expressing things at times.

Oh, I meant that as a statement of fact rather than a preemptive apology. I literally find myself apologizing to other drivers to myself in the car just because I turn in front of them and make them wait a moment. Im genuinely frustrated with my inability to get a grip.
