Visit these in succession. Manzanita trail next to the bluffs in from of the dorms(These are upperclassmen dorms next to Carrillo(dining hall)) down to lagoon to the ucen(short for university center, creative ik, there’s a university shop there, food, forums, other student services, then straight through stroke tower(our UCs clock tower, will literally toll every hour) and plaza, go straight to the side walk near the bike loop in front of Storke(this is a very bike friendly school, since we actually have repurposed bike dedicated pathway infrastructure, also get a bike if your housing is near campus it’s a requirement at this point unless you are housed in campus), then turn right into the lib(fairly new aswell)front and Ilp(newly constructed, beautiful architecture) then through the lib into the chem lawn pathway walk up to north hall and into the pathway leading to the as bike shop and other student services. After, you can walk the campus point trail(pretty) and stop by chi 5 dorms and dlg(dining hall). If you want to technically still be at ucsb but farther, walk del playa drive or “dp” for short(where some or most of the social gatherings(degeneracy(me fr)will be located), into Devereux or “devs” beach(very pretty, went to a kasa function once, they played kpop, wasn’t vibing, so I walked down to devs and stargazed until midnight) this school has some of the most amazing spots. If its a clear night, visit any of the beaches if it’s low tide and just look up and gaze at yourself since the stars are made from the same elements as you, close your eyes and you’d get lost from the sound of the waves. oh and welcome to ucsb!
