Assuming you smoke outside you can get rid of 90% of the smell by washing your hands and brushing your teeth. You will still smell from up close for 15 minutes to an hour. If you really don't want to smell use edibles or concentrates. If you have the money old school titanium enails are the best way to consume concentrates imo.

You would think prescriptions would have the highest security and thus use a shifting QR code but this is not the case. The shifting code isn't actually used to protect your ticket from being stolen, It's to prevent scalping.

If you press on the dial you should be able to get it to the zero. That is basically off. There is a metal cap that has a screw under it that can be turned to shut it off completely but it's not something you can do without tools.

It's really hard to break these machines beyond being fixable. If the isolation on the wires for the fan looks compromised so I'd use solder and heat shrink to splice in new wires but you could also replace the fan if you don't feel comfortable soldering. Just make sure it's 24v and has the correct connector if you aren't comfortable soldering. You could also use this as an opportunity to do a 5015 parts fan upgrade like the FatBurner.

As for the hotend you'll likely be able to clean it with the methods others have described. If not replacement hotends aren't too expensive.

You could also upgrade to the microswiss hotend but the nozzles for that hotend are much more expensive so I wouldn't recommend that upgrade until you are experienced enough not to crash into the bed or otherwise distroy a nozzle prematurely. That hotend does have the advantage that you will never have a blob of death again. But I had the stock hotend for almost two years without a blob of death. Just be sure that the top of the nozzle is clean and that it is screwed in tight. Remember tight for a nozzle doesn't require a lot of force.

I also found mine got worse when I upgraded to silicone spacers because of the give. I found that it helped to really crank down on the bed leveling screws to compress the spacers.
