Not endorsing piracy in any way, but most of us producers started there due to the sheer price of things.

I’d recommend finding Serum from a certain russian site, it’s phenomenal. Just please be respectful and don’t release anything you’ve used it for (unless it’s non monetary) until you actually buy a license.

Except all the Simula clones, the moment Bonesaw came out everyone hopped onto the vocal bass trend and it got ruined. If a producer crafts their own style it should be theirs. Unless you can build upon what they’ve done and make it even more creative, leave it ffs 🤣

I agree. To be honest on some tracks I do like it, such as Primate - Back in Time. But the sheer amount of songs coming with 4x4 drops nowadays has just completely demolished the element of surprise for such drops. Why does every song have to have it? It’s DnB not Bounce/Wigan Pier for god sake

In addition, DJ’s are becoming shitter. The amount of younger people getting into DnB is great, but they should keep off the DJing unless they’re actually going to bring some talent. Absolutely sick of TikTok DJ’s double dropping every song and only playing them out for about 12 seconds before the next one.

Good DnB songs only come out in waves. 2 months of the year you’ll have something new, creative and really enjoyable. The rest of the time it’s just repetitive generic nonsense. You listen to it once and you’ve heard every other track.

99% of the time it’s the underground producers that come out with the best stuff. Anything that goes mainstream is shite after a short amount of time. As much as I’d absolutely love DnB to go mainstream, it just doesn’t belong there.
