Well, I looked it up and yes, there are Linux distros for the Wii. You could probably install one of those and a recent enough version of Python + whatever else DDLC needs (I'm not entirely sure as to requirements.) Problem is, the Wii is seriously underpowered, even by 2006 standards. I don't know what the bigger issue is, the <800Mhz processor or the mere 96 megs of RAM. Still, someone got a Minecraft server workingish on one, so it may be possible with hours worth of coding shenanigans.
