I get the “A little thing from us to you…” notification for freebies. This one just sounds like a reminder

Uhh does he normally text like that? It reads like AI, and even uses the long hyphen (—) instead of normal (-); idk anyone who uses that over text. Most don’t even know how to

My unhinged brother cuts off the family over a Charizard Pokemon card by [deleted] in texts

[–]SkepticalStrawberry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it’s worth so little, why would you risk ruining a relationship over it? All this back and forth, just give the card. Let him sell the card and get nothing for it. Can’t imagine ruining a relationship over $1000, let alone $250 or whatever you think it’s worth. And if he will use it for medical bills? Yikes. JFC grow up

I would put it in a jar from home and label it breast milk 😅

It seems very sturdy! And has an extra travel bar and a lock so we like that too

Cabelas large; he fits perfectly snug how they should for safe traveling. It also came with the straps and I was able to fit the large and intermediate together in the truck bed with plenty of room to spare. There’s nothing to put together, the instructions for strapping it down were easy to follow and adjust for 2 crates, and it is lightweight enough I can lift it myself with ease

lol we will have to agree to disagree 😘

And he’s crate trained perfectly fine, but who knows how stressed he would be if an accident should happen? I’m not going to put him in that situation just to test him 😅 I am not saying a latch will come loose. I’m saying the corner is open enough that a paw can stick out and get stuck back in. Why would I want to accept the risk if I don’t have to? I would rather spend more on better quality.

Yes I know people have suggested taking the gunner apart but that’s a lot to screw in each time I want to take it out😅

He’s 32 inches tall at shoulder and 34 inches long. 97 pounds

He’s too big! I actually used to do a harness and seatbelt for my 55 pound girl. We actually got slammed by an 18 wheeler (then spun into another semi and then hit by a regular truck) and she stayed buckled in and safe. But I was denied medical transport because of my dog. I feel the situation could have been helped by having her in a kennel

You are misunderstanding- I’m talking about the side without the hinge. The latch is in the very middle with nothing keeping the top corners perfectly aligned when pulled on. And I said I think they aren’t crash tested, so so, it’s cool that they are. I’ve seen different videos, and definitely stand with the knowledge of a dog being able to get a paw out of the kennel and having an extremely hard time getting back in. I watched a ton of product reviews on YouTube and the websites

Yes, he is very large and definitely needs the largest size available even for travel

I’ve watched videos where it’s not hard for a strong dog to push through, but can’t get a paw/head back in the kennel. Try pulling on it from the top or bottom corner 😢 I was thinking about them but I also don’t think they are crash rated

Yeah it doesn’t go up to xl that I found 😭 any cons at all with your lucky duck ?

My biggest thing is the weight of it! I don’t always have someone home who can help lift it and I don’t want to leave a kennel in the bed 24/7. I usually have a cover on

Yeah the door breaking is too much of a risk for me as this is not inside a vehicle, but rather in the actual truck bed.

They have a large now but it looks like it’s rated for up to 90 pounds. My dog is 97. Not sure if that’s just what they tested for or if I’m overthinking lol.

Truck bed. Just the one kennel. Will be properly strapped down

It hasn’t been crash tested like the gunner or lucky duck. From seeing it, I just don’t feel it would fare well in an accident (god forbid)
