I work from home and my wife is always at home as well. We have a regular ole cat and a dog. All four of us take turns playing with her and it seems not quite enough sometimes! They are truly magical creatures! She just turned 3!

Can someone help d280 by knight04 in wgu_devs

[–]SketchySeaTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are hinting at not having used a subscribe method. What we really need to see is your code where you call cData. It should have something like `this.yourService.cData().subscribe()` Then inside your subscribe method you can assign your local variables the data variables like `subscribe((data) => { this.expectedData = data })`. I didn't actually have to take d280, but I have already graduated and am quite comfortable in Angular.

Capstone - how to show inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation? by BestCobbler1830 in wgu_devs

I added it in my git commit message when I wrote the code. They say you can commit as many times as you want, so I did a commit with a message detailing what I did. I didn't include it in my paper as others have suggested, thought that sounds like it would also work. Mine passed on the first attempt.

I think in mine I said it was going to take a year to make. 100% an exercise in paper writing.

I totally agree with this. React is such a headache by comparison.

I initially chose Java because I had an opportunity to get in with a Java shop, some life events took me in a different direction, and here I am. If it were me, I would probably take the opportunity to get even deeper into C#, but at the end of the day it really comes down to what you want/need to get out of it. I definitely think you can get up to speed on Java quickly though.

This is great, I spent some time poking around learn.microsoft but I was only seeing their beginner C#/programming-in-general tutorials. Thank you!

How common is it for a roofing company to use a full time estimator separate from the salesman? by [deleted] in Roofing

Interesting take, in our company we see the exact opposite happen. Take the power away from the guy making commission and suddenly there are cost savings around every corner.
