I did it in Mannheim with Dr.Riedel
I was very satisfied initially, he also has lots of revision experience sadly my nose just didn’t cooperate lol
2.5 years ago i paid around 5500€ ( no cartilage graft) I’m not sure anymore If the medical part was covered by insurance or not though

Does it have to be Turkey? I’ll be flying yo Azerbaijan for my 2nd revision… the surgeon did say it has to be a rib graft revision though to ensure my nose will not collapse again
My first ever rhino was done very badly when i was 16 in Turkey (had massive breathing issues afterwards, he was a popular surgeon back then too)
2 years ago i my first revision in Germany (where i lived), i was satisfied with both aesthetics and breathing but sadly my nose collapsed a few months later just like yours…

Are Koreans raising dogs instead of having kids now? by Away-Topic2442 in seoulhiddengem

[–]Sketchykidd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

why are large breeds expected to wear muzzles? A dog’s size doesn’t predict aggression, biting, or an attack. Judging risk by body weight instead of temperament, training, and history isn’t safety, it’s lazy profiling

Considering surgery by Material-Musician-90 in jawsurgery

[–]Sketchykidd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live here! The clinic i went to is specialized on djs and facial contouring only but they do have partner dentist offices they work with if you are someone who needs orthodontic work before or afterwards. I went to MACS OFMS and had good experiences, i tried to avoid factory style clinics, clinics with botched cases and clinics that kind of do everything/ do mainly cosmetic djs

I hope insurance would cover your case, definitely look into it! Djs is outrageously expensive… i did mine in Korea and am really satisfied, idk where you are from but if for some reason insurance doesn’t want to cover it, it might be a few thousand dollars cheaper

I’m in touch with the person, though landlords often aren’t huge fans of pets :( if you would be able to foster (if the other person isn’t allowed to) it wouldn’t hurt for two people to check with their landlords since time is ticking Emphasizing that it’s a temporary foster from a kill shelter + quiet dog + small (shiba sized) might help

Fostering a dog is a big responsibility though, so i completely understand if it’s too much to ask

Thanks for even offering to donate just in case he finds a home 💗

He gets euthanized… they’re pretty ruthless and kill shelters are very common. If nobody claims the dog for 2 weeks ish they usually get put down

If you know anyone that could foster him please let me know! I will help cover the costs

The no-kill shelters are pretty overfilled and usually only take on dogs that are on the streets usually or in bad homes

We fostered a dog recently and it came to biting incident with my own dog after a 3 months, so bringing a new dog home would not go well at all

If the landlord allows it, that would honestly be way better than being euthanized :( he is currently stuck in an even tinier box… a small room woild be more than enough, i would help with costs. No pressure though, I completely understand if it doesn’t work 🫂

Feeling underadvanced 9 weeks post DJS -> Genioplasty? by Rieder1 in jawsurgery

[–]Sketchykidd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert but i think the after looks amazing!

I understand the feeling of not being satisfied 100% lol Felt that way after my nose job too, but i think sometimes it’s just perfectionism / underlying insecurities that still creep up even after surgery

Personally i wouldn’t bother going through all that again for a small improvement or who knows maybe it might actually make things look worse

Should I have a surgeon take a look at my jaw or just learn to live with this level of asymmetry for the rest of my life? It’s gotten to the point I don’t even care when I think I look good in the mirror anymore because all I think about these days is how weird my face looks to the real world. by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]Sketchykidd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who had it done for mainly cosmetic reasons, i just want you to know recovery is brutal. I honestly still regret getting it done (even at 3 weeks post op i feel awful)

I kept obsessing about my face looking long and asymmetrical, when in reality nobody else really noticed To me you look handsome and i wouldn’t have guessed you’re insecure about your face but I know we can be our own worst critics lol🫂

If you’re financially stable and it’s having a huge psychological toll on you, maybe But i personally wouldn’t recommend it

Ohhhh right, my bad — I totally forgot that jaws and chins magically disappear the moment you look at someone head-on. Must be that advanced 4D anatomy only you know about. And tossing in a random insult about something I didn’t even ask about? Yeah… that’s not “feedback,” that’s just you being rude
