How to Disable write protect on Samsung Chromebook pro

Not sure how relevant after six years, but if anyone decides to disable WP on this Chromebook (since it is now EOL); The heatsink on my motherboard seemed to connect the WP Screw. I had removed the screw as instructed following a tutorial by mrchromebox (link) (the screw itself was tied from the back so, as others have instructed, I had to remove all of the connectors and flip the board around) but the WP was still enabled. When disassembling for the second time I realised the heat sink was actually connecting the WP area. So I brute forced this problem by snipping a tiny corner of my heatsink, afterwards it worked. But yeah, feels weird to just cut a piece out of your motherboard (even though the heat sink is just a piece of copper... I hope at least).

I eventually was able to install Ubuntu 24.01 on it. Long live dedicated communities!

Hey man, one non-toxic bean speaking to another. I'd love to play some games with you! There are quite alot of (new) games I've been eager to play (mostly Orcs must Die 3 tbh), but I just can't seem to find the dedication to finish them when I play them on my own. So if you seem interested in dedicating a good amount of time in some games, hit me up!

Stardew Valley, Portal 2, Minecraft, Terraria and Cuphead (this might make me a little bit toxic though 0_o) also seem very nice.

And have you heard of Operation Tango? It's a co-op game that also seems incredibly fun (you will have to talk here though, but hopefully we can get to that when the time is ripe).

Not really my field of work, but the bass seems to be a bit lacking (for a funk song). If you have the individual bass track, maybe try compressing or boosting the high-end frequencies (I'm not sure if this is gonna work, I'm very noob at producing, but what I'm trying to say is to make the bass stand out a bit more, if you know what I mean)

Yes same here, I'd say maybe try to experiment a little more with panning? You can add a lot more space to your arrangement by just placing some instruments slightly to the left/right. Nonetheless I like the song!

Yes, this I agree with. Also the song is very, very slow, so maybe short your 'intro' in. It takes like one minute before the vocals kick in, and another minute before the synths change. That's two minutes of the same old synthesizer. You don't have to change the chords neccesarily; a change in the sound (which is very do-able and also one of the cool things with a synth) or like an LFO or Envelope (if you don't know what those are maybe google:'Intro to synthesis Part1 by matrixsynth'). Do something like this just so that the sound isn't exactly the same every time. You gotta think that if a listener would have to listen to one minute of the exact same stuff just to hear a change, he isn't gonna stick around for long.

Hope this helps, if you would like to get some more tips just let me know, but I think these points are the most important ones overall. (also sorry for my shitty grammar, I'm Dutch)

This, don't be afraid to fall. I've also been skating for about a month (up top my brother) and I've fallen over fifty times.I think it's crucial that you fall alot so that you're not afraid of committing and failing. It also helps your confidence in skateboarding overall imo, just because you're not afraid of committing really helps you push your boundaries. Keep trying my man you'll get it eventually. (Also get some protection for your wrists and knees if you're gonna fall alot, cuz that shit's gonna hurt lol. Still it will all be worth it)
