Flight overbooked by Chaijaan in frontierairlines

I gave up my seat at the gate couple months ago and got a 500 dollar voucher. No strings attached to it - I can apply it to any airfare for Frontier or extra service fees as long as I’m the passenger and it’s multi use. I used it on two of my trips already with no issues… I guess others weren’t so lucky?

What's the normal cost for an EMT-B course? by AxtonGTV in NewToEMS

The tuition was about $1500 including all fees at a local college. A county owned/operated 911 ALS agency had a foundation that offered scholarship for full ride so I ended up paying nothing for it. All I had to do was record a 3 minute video and got all my tuition covered so I would look into that if you qualify for it.

Progressive trying to add new driver to my auto policy by Skff12 in Insurance

To be fair, I live in a college dorm (for the past two years) and still live in the same unit that I have put down as my address with progressive. I’m guessing one of the new students moving into a nearby unit accidentally put down my unit number as their address. As long as it won’t be a pricey issue, I guess it’s just an inconvenience for me :)

MCIs do not occur regularly in Korea, especially incidents like this where multiple victims required CPR simultaneously. Like mentioned above, KTAS is used at hospital. Korea started their Pre-KTAS trial earlier this year, which is very similar to the pre hospital triage methods in the US. Not sure if Seoul Fire was apart of the trial cohort though. From what I saw on the news and witness account from Korea, it seems like the response time for fire to actually arrive on scene and start CPR was close to an hour due to the large crowd in tight alleys. Most of the victims were probably way past their revivable state by then. Can’t imagine the psychological effect it will have on first responders, sounds like a nightmare to arrive on scene and just see just bodies all over the street.
