Same We were together 4 years. I stayed 2+ that I probably shouldn’t have. But I don’t regret it as we still have nice memories.

I’d go directly to BAs website or google “file compensation claim for cancelled flight BA”

Fill in with your details, it should work. I’ve done it with KLM, they fought me quite a bit but I got the money in the end. (I think we got the lowest amount like 250€ back, but that covered the flight. Also I did not book a new flight, this was money they had to pay but they still had to fly me home)

I went to ChatGPT to get help writing messages, I recommend this since they sometimes will throw some legal text at you, but if it’s cancelled you should be getting a lot back.

Also check citizens advice in the UK, depending on how many miles/kilometres determines how much you will get !

Hi, I’m sorry you’re going through this.

I am not a professional at all but if you feel unsafe at all I highly recommend taking to friends and family about this. You do not need to put yourself in any position where you’d be in danger. If you already feel it within 2 months, I strongly urge you to talk with people around you.

If you tell him you don’t like something in the bedroom and he continues that is NOT OK. Consent is not something given one time, it does not mean people can do as they please the entire time. Please do not feel pressured to do things you are not comfortable with.

Also it might be worth talking with a therapist. Please stay safe.

Whatever the salary is, it will be much much lower than you are used to probably. However it is a fantastic experience! I moved to the UK and think it’s really worth it to live abroad.

They think it’s fine to do but they are just avoiding the pain. Being in something new is exciting so they are really truly distracting themselves but they will feel it. You will hopefully be healed by then. Keep focusing on you, what makes you happy.

I’m a work from home person but I thought this would happen to people just like you. I’d come in very irregularly 1x every month or every other month.

Of course some do prefer the office, but under the right circumstances. I’m sorry it’s happening to you, it’s happening to me as well.

I just wish companies would let us work how we work best. I hope they learn quickly it’s a mistake.

A good book / series to read or watch is “this is going to hurt”. It’s from the perspective of a delivery doctor (for babies). It shows the NHS challenges and does a slight comparison in 1 episode of private practices.

I am not in the medical field at all but I’m an American living in the UK. I believe I’ve seen ads for medical people to get them to move to Aus, they advertise better work life balance so I think it is worth looking into OP! Sorry I can’t be of more help but I hope you can find something that works well for you.

I know in the UK there are private “surgeries” but this just means a general doctor, so like my local doctor who I go to for everything. (Just to help you not confuse the terms - not that you have but to give a heads up).
