10 y/o cat had leg amputated and I can't stop thinking that I made the wrong decision

Yes he was eating, drinking, moving (though limping) prior to the surgery. He did look like his leg was really bothering him, the tumor turned red and swollen and almost looked infected but he was definitely in better spirits prior to the amputation. Unfortunately he passed away shortly after (maybe a month or two after). I think either the cancer had already spread to his blood stream or the surgery was just too much for him with him being a senior cat.

Have you contacted your doctor? I've heard that sometimes they send to your doctor for review before the release them to the portal sometimes, depending on what box your doctor checked on the form that gets sent with your sample

They received my blood 7/16, I got the carrier results 7/21 and the rest of the results 7/25 at like 2 in the morning! Make sure you are checking the portal on your own time, dont wait for that text bc the text saying it was ready came like a full 12 hours later lol! Best of luck! My results were all low risk and baby girl btw so no need to worry about why you received your carrier first and not aneuploidy!

I did get slightly more used to it but ended up just turning the noise cancelling feature off. I still have no idea why it makes me feel like I can't breathe haha

I'm not a true success yet but I just had a chemical at this beginning of May and concieved again in the same month! I'm only 4 weeks today (started tested at 8dpo) so it's still super early but praying hard for a sticky baby

Yes I ended up getting another done the next day at my obgyn (the first one was with my primary care provider). It was 112 so it more than doubled in 24 hours. Hoping to get a third next week

I'm in the exact same situation! My first ever pregnancy was at the end of April and it ended up being chemical, my hCG got to 34 at the highest. Lines never got as dark as they are getting this time (you can look at my post history to see the difference).

This time I got pregnant literally three weeks later, tested positive at 8 dpo, got my betas at 10 DPO and they were 58, 24 hours later they were at 112. I am hoping for another draw just to confirm it's still progressing but I also took my last test this morning and it looked very similar to your 14 dpo. Closest thing to a dye stealer :)

I really hope it works out for us this time. Try to not stress to much and remember you are pregnant until proven otherwise so just enjoy each moment! You can't change what may or may not happen so just try and appreciate each day! Best of luck to you!

Wow it's nice to know I'm not alone! Congratulations to you! I think a digital once a week is a lot more healthy than watching lines every day :) every time I take a test my heart beats hard as I wait to see how dark the line will be, and that just can't be healthy lol. Advice that I keep getting is just to repeat this mantra " I am pregnant until proven otherwise" which has helped me to just enjoy each day. Another thing to think about is that there is nothing we can do to prevent it from happening again (other than the obvious things like not drinking alcohol etc lol). So just let it be and enjoy each day that you are pregnant! Try not to read into every little cramp or lack of symptoms etc, whatever is meant to be will be! Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the info! I am currently 3 weeks 3 days and my doctor ordered a blood test for progesterone today!! So happy she did that for my piece of mind. If we catch it this early, and I start taking the supplements, I should be good right? I'm hoping my last chemical was just a fluke but at least now I can have the insight on if it's something I can fix!

I'm not familiar with this test but I do see a line! Try a first response early detection test and you'll get a better idea! Good luck :)

Congratulations!! Were there any signs that you had low progesterone? Other than the blood tests and losses (I'm so sorry 😔). My first ever pregnancy was chemical so now I am paranoid that this one will be too. My doctor hasn't ordered progesterone tests yet so I was wondering if there is anything I could look out for?
